Hello everyone,

I finally got some time to work (and relax) after the last two very busy and stressful weeks.

The heating system is finally working again after 4 tries and a 1.200 Euro bill. My wife and I thankfully had some savings for stuff like this, so that bill is already paid.

But now back to some reference related updates.

Since I won’t need a big living room anymore, I will use the biggest room in the house as my studio. It will take a while to get everything done, but I already bought something that I want to use in the new studio.

These gym mats should make my life a lot easier. You probably noticed that I love taking reference photos in motion. But jumping and running on the hard floor can get painful after a while.

I will try to find some wall paint that matches with the color of the mats, so that it looks as nice and clean as possible, and I don’t have to use the paper backdrop anymore. If it doesn't look as nice as I want it to be, I will invest a bit more money and buy more mats, so that I can put these on the wall as well.

First, I was a little worried that the lines on the floor might be distracting, but they might be useful as guidelines. What do you think?

This weekend I will finally work on the next themed pack. It’s kind of a remake of an older pack that I’m not satisfied with, the reference sheet pack. I wanted way too much, so the quality was... not good. This time I want to be more focused and create a pack that I can be proud of.
