Hi guys! π
Recently I decided to do something other than portraits so here are some nature studies. I didn't go outside to do them (unfortunately) but I was creating a bit from my imagination and a bit from references that you can see on my Pinterest.
Here are the materials I used:
1. Talens Art Creation Sketchbook. It's surprisingly good for wet media!
2. "WHITE NIGHTS" Watercolours. I'm not super experienced with this media but I think they have good quality. I painted most of these shapes (trees, bushes) without previous sketches, just right away with watercolours. This wooden box with ceramic palette is from Ant Palette.

3. GANSAI PAINTS that I got from my friend Marta πΌ You can find them in Choosing Keeping and my set is "1960's". They act a bit like gouache when you use small ammount of water and like watercolors with more. This golden one is AMAZING!

4. I made some contours and hatching with Prismacolor Soft Core coloured pencils:

5. INKs. I used Black, Winsor & Newton ink to make most of the contours but I wanted this pink tree to stay light and soft so I used pink one that I also got some time ago from Marta πΆ I don't know the brand, sorry. But Winsor & Newton has inks in many colours and I'll probably buy them all now π

I love them and I wanna create more this way! It was super relaxing to not think about all the proportions and resemblance for once π
Let me know what you think!
Hugs 𧑠Gaby
