Voices of value
Added 2019-03-11 16:00:04 +0000 UTCHey folks! Another smallish update this week, while we work on tidying up Rusty Towers for the AGM.
One of the things we're working on is a review of our core values - those tenets that we want our projects and our position in the industry to work towards upholding. One of those values is "Representation" with a view to giving a creative platform for folks with marginal opportunities in or access to traditional media.
Which is where you all can help us. What are good outlets or organisations that we should be approaching to help spread the word about opportunities in geek culture / speculative fiction at Rusty Quill? What we're looking for are groups like Media Diversified or Black Girl Gamers, but across the spectrum of under-represented groups. Let me know in the comments below or by PM (either here or on Discord),
Also, we know folks have been asking for more writing competitions given how well last year went, so here's a heads up - Rusty Fears 2 is coming soon.
And here's what you can expect from us this week (all shows release at 4pm UK time):
Tue 12th March - RQG121 - Contact (Patreon)
Wed 13th March - MAG130 - Meat (Patreon); RQG121 - Contact (Public)
Thu 14th March - STL007 - Trash and Mysteries (Patreon); MAG130 - Meat (Public)
Fri 15th March - Rusty Bits #2; STL007 - Trash and Mysteries (Public)
Have a great week folks!

I have sufficiently recovered from my fear and am back with my organization recommendation. Ablegamers Foundation is a US charity that helps provide modified controllers for people with disabilities so they can game more easily and comfortable. They also provide information to game developers about making games more accessible. They’re pretty freaking awesome. Website is https://ablegamers.org/
