Which, honestly, could be how Jon is 'feeding' his 'god'. Therefore you could assume, more the 'Eye' knows, the more it knows about the weaknesses of the other 'gods'. Jude better watch out. Knowledge is power.

I'm also enjoying Jonathan's arc. He's so in over his head (and he knows it), but he just keeps pushing forward. Maybe stubbornness to get knowledge is part of the archivist archetype...
