Loved this episode so much, seeing Jon get these powers is so cool 😎

Come on, Jonny, so you're becoming less human? You're turning into a COOL inhuman thing. Your faction is just like.... books and knowledge an shit. At least there's no beetles. Come onnnn, it's cool. Admit it's cool, Jon. (I'm also kinda happy for that guy with his beetle family?)

"That's actually fair" "Shut up!!"

Re listening again. I heard "Benoit Macon" and started chanting "bug wife Bug Wife BUG WIFE!!" in my car.

Emma Grace

Eew, eew, eeeeeew! And now Jon *knows* things, I love it.

Laura Hill

I seriously love how Elias, for ONCE, was called to the proverbial carpet. Jon went for the gut and that was amazing. Also awww Martin and Jon having a heart to heart. Well done, Jon. I know feelings are hard with people you care about. However, can I just say .... I have sincerely missed having our Creepy Storytime with Uncle Jonathan? This week's tale was incredible and made my skin crawl. Well done, team!

The character parts at the beginning were fun to listen to. I can imagine Jonathan looking at the viewer, just 100% done with all of the office drama.

Mark Sutton

If the previous episode was a game-changer on a plot-level, this one definitely is on a character-level. There were so many interesting developments, I'm still reeling! One thing that stood out to me was Melanie's appearance though, who is in such a dark place now. The conversation at the end was simultaneously perfect and frustrating; perfect because it was (and given what I'm about to say next, still is) very necessary for both characters, frustrating because in the end, it really was just "an attempt". But really, what a great episode! This show just keeps getting better and better!

alexa

i love the episodes where the characters actually talk to each other, this was the best.

Jon trying to be decent to Martin, and Martin being wounded and angry is *chef's kiss* pitch perfect. Also, seeing some genuine(?) emotion from Elias was gratifying. Poor Melanie, it must be demoralizing to fail at so many murder attempts.

Hang on, did Melanie try to pull a Sasha Racket on Elias?

Tall Kat

OMG a statement from NZ, maybe? I'm guessing taniwha, or something geothermal. Or volcanoes. Something about the Buried Village? There's a lot of horror potential here, how exciting!

Coco

GERARD ISN'T DEAD!!! (fight me)

Tall Kat

Words cannot explain how much I love. This. Episode. Elias actually showing emotion! Jon actually caring about Martin! Jon speaking French!! And finally some more information about the Unknowing. So. Good.
