Elias’ perfect delivery of that final line over Melanie’s gentle sobs 🧊 👌

Savannah Shirkey

We've got Jealous Martin pining for Jon Elias showing more scary abilities And info that Melanie's father died in Ivy Meadows, the home taken over by the Corruption then burned down. Yeesh

Crossbonesz

so Chilcott saw Jan Kilbride, but just the spacesuit...?

Pia K R

lol poor Jan. He vanished into something XD

Rurrie

omg was Melanie's dad in that creepy hospice from... whichever previous episode that was? Oh noooo. (I am still #TeamElias. Honestly he's being very reasonable with someone who tried to kill him twice)

Rurrie

ACE JON CONFIRMED? *_*

Rurrie

Holy hell! This is the first time, I'm actually scared of Elias! Poor Melanie.

Heather MacKenzie

Well. All right. Everyone can take on the clowns - but I am now not certain if they could take on Elias ... except Jon. Pretty sure Jon could take Elias. I wonder if those powers cancel each other out though...

Wren Griffin-Harrigan

Holy crap! Elias is terrifying!

Laura Hill

Elias doesn't like having his monster status challenged, huh?

Oltanya

I'm inclined towards "not YET" but I wouldn't rule it out.

Linda Evans

Well that was flippin’ amazing. Wonderful statement reading from Lydia, and the rest of the character interaction was a joy. I was horrified, delighted, and horrified again. Thanks.

Joolz

I keep telling people. Elias is easily the most frightening character we've met so far.

Keeperofterris

Well, Elias just got a whole lot more frightening (and dangerous). Wonder if Jon has a similar skill to what Elias used on Melanie?

Mark Sutton

Wait. Wait. I just had a relisten and I'd missed one line. Did you just. ((SPOILER)) Thank you so much. I'm asexual (and queer) and I almost started crying at work when I heard this. Thank you SO MUCH for that line. Not only is this show genuinely good, but things like this also make me SO HAPPY!!!

sAZAndorable

Holy shit Elias

stitchwitch

*screams and vibrates the whole way through* The statement is amazing, my jaw dropped and my face lit up as I listened to this walking in the street. And then the post-statement segment is an endless rollercoaster of thrill and anguish. I love all of these characters so much! (I even love to be terrified of Elias.)

sAZAndorable

ELIAS. ELIAS NO. ELIAS STAHP.

James Gibson

That was such a wild ride, my god. Definitely a new fave. And amazing performances all around!

alexa

Can I give a shout-out to the ladies chatting and having a good time before everything went to hell? I loved that scene.

A.L. Hade

holy shit

neongrey

Elias, you unbelievable bastard. The Daedalus was a red herring. Melanie’s father having dementia hit a nerve with me (it’s what killed my mother) and was far more horrifying than anything else in the episode. Also, Ivy effing Meadows. Holy shit indeed.

Gilligan Mungus

Well now, Elias just got approximately 50x scarier. Is it really wrong to sympathise with his position a smidge, though?

Linda Evans

cosmic horror, canon queerness, and ben's sinister voice = this episode is my favourite.
