I know they aren’t mentioned much, but I never EVER imagined I’d share my name with anything but my great grandfather. And hearing a character named Matis in something, especially something I love as much as the Magnus archives, brought me to tears. I know it wasn’t purposeful but it means more than I can ever put into words.
