Organised chaos!
Added 2019-12-02 16:00:04 +0000 UTCHappy Monday folks!
Well, that was a busy weekend - thank you so much to those who were able to come out and support us at Dragonmeet and/or London Podcast Festival for The Magnus Archives Live. It means a great deal to us. But no time to slow down just yet because...
On Friday we have the return of Stellar Firma for Season 2! Yes, Trexel, David, Hartro & I.M.O.G.E.N. are back for more heavenly hijinks and celestial calamities, as we find out what happens next. A new season means new designs, but will it be a whole new Trexel?
Also a reminder that the Stellar Firma Ltd employee complaints form (open to all Patrons at the Rusty Citizen level and above) is still open HERE.
Then, this Saturday, Saturday, Saturday... Live from The Old Library Space in south London.... We bring you - RUSTY QUILL: GAMING & GIVING 2019!! [EXTENDED SOUNDS OF CROWD APPLAUSE]
Tune in at twitch.tv/rusty_quill from 10am GMT on Saturday 7th December, as we indulge in 12hrs of entertainment as we look to raise £8000 for Mind, the mental health charity. We have a packed schedule of games and guests, plus some very special donation incentives to get us over the line for the cause of better mental health.
Games on this year's list include old favourites like Billionaire Banshee and Mount Your Friends, alongside new offerings like Trapwords and Fog of Love. And don't forget we've got some announcements coming up during the day, including the launch date for The Magnus Archives Season 5!
Check out our YouTube channel to see the sorts of things we got up to last year, and keep an eye on our social media & the #rqgg-livestream channel in the Discord for all the latest news and info about the event. And - if at all possible - we would really appreciate it if you could help spread the word about what we're doing; retweets, word of mouth... every little bit helps to get it out to a wider audience and raise more money for this very important cause.
And a bit of a recap on last Saturday's live show for those who couldn't be there - you can check out our Twitter feed for some photos from the night, including an expanded TMA Meet & Greet which drafted in Sasha Sienna (Georgie) and Alasdair Stuart (Peter). Suffice to say that the half hour allotted slot wasn't enough, and what should have ended at 6pm was still going at 7pm :-)
As for the show itself, we took it right back to the beginning, as The Archivist entered his new domain, and began to record Anglerfish and Do Not Open, with guest appearances from Rosie and Tim, as well guest distraction from Martin in search of a dog. And we rounded out the evening with an impromptu Q&A.
We are pretty pleased with the way the show went, and this bodes well for future live events, as a repeat of this and/or dramatising other episodes in a similar vein. As for bringing this show to everyone, whilst we did record & film it, we need to check the recordings before we can decide what we'll do as there were a few technical issues that arose.
And, here's what you can expect from us this week (all shows release at 4pm UK time):
