RQG METACAST 8 - Sensitivity in Gaming

Comments

I really have to thank you guys for this one. I've heard and read many resources on table experience and safety tools in gaming, but I've been fretting about it lately. I'm starting a game at work, a lot of my coworkers have barely even heard of TTRPGs, and of course on top of that we are together because of work, so inevitably something will come out that at least two people will disagree on on a personal level and then we have to go back to code meetings without resenting each other. I have been rolling this around in my head trying to figure out how to actually pass on this information without sounding sanctimonious or making it seem intimidating because of all these serious real life consequences that probably never crossed their minds. Everyone was very eloquent and kind in their explanations and I believe it's given me a good foundation on how to begin this conversation.

This really just cemented my initial vibe about this group. I'm not a gamer, I JUST started to listen to RQG because I want to support the team outside of my TMA obsession and really feel such an affinity for this group of people.

Thanks for the valuable conversation!
