[KNIGHTS] TMA Season 4 Q&A, Patreon Extras, Part 1

Well, there were so many questions submitted for the Season 4 mailbag, that we thought we'd subject Alex & Jonny to answering a few more of them just for you folks!

Tune in for more answers about the production process, Institute anomalies and cats. And yes, you can look forward to at least another set of Extra Answers coming (hopefully soon).

Loving the name "Scam Likely" because I'm pretty sure I know EXACTLY what it references

-eldritch-h0rr0r-

I actually think it is really funny that people didn't vibe with BOTH Peter and Elias as the villain because I found them as like... opposite sides of the villain dynamic.

Has Jonny Sims read the Sonic Bible???

New patron, just listened to this, and I wanted to say that the discussion of alternate names for the Archivist caused me to laugh so hard that it caused my cat to freak out. The cat is not appreciative, but I very much enjoyed this Q&A!

Kate Sparrow

this brought me so much joy

Oh wow, okay. So, new Patron, just getting around to listening to this. I haven't delved into the fandom much, and so I haven't experienced much on people's reactions to characters, so it comes as a surprise to me that people found Peter Lukas sketchy and villain-y from the beginning. I quite liked his character even from early mentions. The initial story of the Tundra was spooky and delightful to me for a number of reasons and I was always curious about Peter, so was equally delighted when he turned into a regular! His introduction in ep100 was unexpected, but as soon as he spoke, and the way he went about having his conversations (cemented in ep108 monologue), I went, "I like that one especially." Might have to delve into more of why people were madly side-eyeing him from the beginning. Thanks for enduring the hours of Q&A, Alex and Jonny. Stay safe and healthy. <3

Suddenly all of the art of martin getting flustered after watching jon Murder people has new context... thank you Alex ahahahaha

So, Jonnny and Alex almost dropped MAG160 on Brexit day (but delays happened) and now MAG161 will be aired definitely in the middle of a pandemic... How are you feeling?

Rosa

The best part of this entire thing is both Jonny and Alex bursting out laughing when Jonny answers what heโ€™d name the Archivist if he could do it over ๐Ÿคฃ

Rowan MacBean

Jonny and Alex, thank you for all this delicious new information!

Meredith

I kind of got spoiled for the fact that Peter Lukas was a bad, and specifically that a lot of his badness affected Martin, so knowing all that and then hearing him for the first time and he sounds like someoneโ€™s slightly goofy affable uncle? Was a wild experience lmao, Iโ€™d never listened to Alasdair in anything before! which is a shame because he seems like a genuinely very cool guy, but Peter Lukas makes me want to become an avatar of the slaughter just a bit ๐Ÿ˜…

Max

UTS has the big underground library retrieval system though... Reckon they link up though a series of underground tunnels?

Dmitri Molotov

I really want the Minsk National Library to be the part of The Eye or be specifically constructed for The Eye, like Jonahโ€™s little retirement house. I mean just look at this thing!

Igor

The Australian institute is in Sydney uni I just decided

Mo Quirk

please release jonny and alex from the question cage, they've suffered enough. (but seriously thank you, this is lovely.)

Jack Beckwith

Oh this has been such a delight <3 I simultaneously have so many positive associations with Alasdair's voice (woooo Pseudopod) that my reactions to Peter Lukas's appearances at first were more along the lines with "oh hey, my favourite podcast host!" rather than "oooh, a new big bad." But he definitely won me over with his kindly duplicity. :)

ray brantley

They sound like they are having way too much fun. Perhaps a video Q&A, where we can see them.

Rahlly

I keep freaking out my coworkers by listening to stuff like this at work. They think I'm laughing at them and not the ridiculousness of this lot.
