I'm living for Daisy's sexy "I'll rrrrip her throat out" and Jon's awkward "oh-! hæ hæ!" reaction to being told it was a joke

....there was a LOT of static on that therapist's recording 🙃🙃🙃 The Web is NOT a licensed therapist.... is it??? 😆

Rurrie

omg I didn't notice!!!

Rurrie

lol Daisy simply employing herself XD

Rurrie

"Like that lighter you're always using - where'd you get that?" Jon: [dodges the question] uh oh.

Rurrie

John's nervous laugh was adorable

Zackery Breeland

Also Daisy gave me so much life this episode. And Jon made me sad. And I worry about that lighter to this day, never stopped... Great episode all around!

Crystal Land

I'm pumped that Neil, a Web avatar, worked with a Gabe on stop motion stuff back in the day. Definitely Gabriel, the Worker of Clay from The Spiral. Then a bunch of other little nods to other Powers with his movie titles... The Mother of Puppets has her hands all over the place, hmm?

Crystal Land

I didn't know i needed Daisy giving Jon a mom-talk in my life, but it turns out I absolutely did.

Zed Em

Oooh good catch Neil & Cassidy. Will pay closer attention on my next re-listen.

Bloody brilliant. I love the character interaction, the fact that proper communication is beginning to form bonds and the spooky duo of Neil Lagorio and Annabelle Cane (Who is confirmed to be not-white, which will make for some lovely fan art contrasting dark skin and white webs! Can't recall if that was confirmed before or not.) I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface of the Web’s themes. It seems to be the most…convoluted fear? As a confirmed arachnophobe, my fear reaction to spiders is definitely more in line with revulsion and the Corruption. The control and manipulation are very abstract. Looking forward to seeing more of that. Also looking forward, reluctantly, to more harvestmen. They are terrifying, to me at least, but rarely employed in horror. Far worse than any tarantula or widow.

Robbie Lyons

... Annabelle was almost (almost.) cute in this one, until the "five months" was dropped, AOUCH. The conversations were so good!! I'm so emotional over Melanie seeking out therapy (GOOD!), regaining control of herself and ensuring that Daisy wouldn't stay alone! Jon and Daisy's exchanges are once again so precious; I really love how they both manage to open up with each other, even when the exercise is clearly hard for them, and how Daisy is currently giving back so much... The Eye better pamper her, she's actually the first one of the assistants who knew what she was signing up for and did it without any external pressure :w (There was something sooo satisfying in the idea that SHE went to ranksack Elias's office. I hope that, if she ~*accidentally*~ broke a few things inside, he was Watching.) I'll be clutching my heart for the next few days thinking about the fact that JON is GOING OUT FOR DRINKS with assistants, after the mentions in the Round Table that he... used to Not. (And about Jon beginning to say that he is alone because Martin isn't there?! Martin, you're missing out on so many things, noooo...). That, and shaking in Fear again because, amongst the many threats looming around, we now have a suspicious therapist who uses tape recorders and makes Eye puns, MMMMMM...

Cassidy

There's subtle static (might need earphones to hear) when he answers "Mm. Good point. We should keep our eyes open." before going "Anyway-", so it deeeefinitely sounds like he's being ~compelled~ to not focus on the lighter (like when Gerry had brought up the Web pattern on it and Jon confessed that he hadn't really thought about it... before also immediately changing the subject) =D

Cassidy

Also can I just say I love hearing Alex read the more colorful Patron names? His lovely accent saying “A Dog with Human Hands” made my day.

Gilligan Mungus

EVERYTHING IS AMAZING I AM SO SHOOK ABOUT THE TALK ABOUT THERAPY (worried now though.) AND EVERYTHING DAISY SAID AND ANNABELLE AND *BANGING POTS AND PANS* HELEN!! HELEN!! HELEN!! YAAAAY!!!!!! She sounded extremely creepy, i'm sooooo worried and sooooo thrilled, and looking forward to possibly hearing her again and getting a whole new range of voice acting from her <33

sAZAndorable

IS ANYONE ELSE EXTREMELY WORRIED THAT WE COULD HEAR MELANIE'S SESSSION

Mark Spark

Anyone else think that Jon wasn't able to hear the question about the lighter? As if something was stopping him from giving it any regard?

Neil Kelly

And she found herself an employment contract! She's brilliant I love her.

J.

"Boo hoo I’m so alone and a monster!" ^_^ Daisy's fast becoming my new favorite. Seriously, I come to Magnus for the creepy statements, but I stay for fragile and poignant interactions like this. Daisy inviting Jon out for drinks made my heart so happy!

Sarah Becan

Helen!!! Gould not “Helen”. :-D Azu the therapist. Lol. Love that idea.
