Was he gonna say he loved jon 👀

Julia

Almost everyone we've assumed was Evil has turned out to have just been some nerd who thought he could understand and contain the forces. This bodes GREAT for Jon, surely. His legacy will DEFINITELY be recalled accurately, and he for sure won't be seen as a creepy evil bastard by future generations. Yep.

Ever since Gerry confirmed there are no "good" powers out there—only fears—we knew the Eye was inherently Not Good. Though I'm still holding out that it's Less Bad than some others XD (watch the Crown turn out to be the ultimate bad lmao)

Rurrie

"I wish--" YOU WISH YOU COULD TALK TO JON?????? ahjsdksdkjghlsdjghkdfghsdf

My heart. Poor Martin. And these people who we think are the bad ones who end up being attempted keepers of balance. Did we go through all these episodes thinking The Eye was good when all along it's just as horrible as the other Dread Powers?

Heather MacKenzie

Whoa.

The payoff for being a long time listener/fan continues! Smirke! This kind of reminds me of the belief aspect in American Gods by Neil Gaiman where the gods only exist as long as people believe in and worship them. However in MAG, the more people acknowledge the fears, organize them if you will, the more ‘real’ they become. I didn’t think I could look forward to the episodes more than I did but the anticipation keeps getting ratcheted up! Love it.

Gilligan Mungus

Amazing episode! I totally felt like there was at least three episodes’ worth of content. I loved Smirke’s suspicion that defining or naming the entities (and/or their rituals) made them more real; this is just the kind of fairytale logic that should work here.

Anne Eilertsen

This fills in some of the history, while creating new holes. Nice work!

Brb putting this episode on repeat for the rest of my life
