Celebrate, RQ times, come on!

Joyous Monday folks! 

Well now, we are all abuzz here at Rusty Towers this week - the bunting and party hats are out in force as we celebrate 4 years of Rusty goodness! Yes, on this day, in 2015, the first episodes of the Rusty Quill Gaming Podcast released, launching Rusty Quill into the world with lots of laughter, if not necessarily acclaim ;-)

4 years on, and we have 3 weekly shows, hundreds of hours of listening goodness, growing recognition in the UK audio drama scene as a purveyor of quality, and, most importantly, an amazing fanbase who have supported us from the very beginning, and without whose help, we could not have made it to this point! So, thank you all - you're wonderful ^_^

Today also marks the one year anniversary of the official Rusty Quill Discord server! Currently standing at 1369 members, with an active day-to-day community presence, it has exceeded this Community Manager's wildest dreams in the goal of bringing fans together, from all over the world.

To mark this occasion, I will be hanging out in the #General voice chat channel this evening, from 7.30pm BST, to chat, answer questions and tell stories with all you lovely folks. And we should have appearances from other members of the crew too, schedules permitting.

In other news, we now have a date for this year's charity livestream! We know many of you, particularly those outside of the UK, have been eagerly awaiting this. We are happy to confirm that we will be having a live studio audience once again, and we invite you to join us on Saturday 7th December 2019 for Rusty Quill - Gaming & Giving 2019, a day of laughs, games and shenanigans, raising money for a good cause!

In addition, work continues apace on Freaks' Roll Call - the series guide has now been completed, so we know what shape the show will take. It's now going out for sensitivity reading & feedback, and then the pre-production work can begin in earnest! 

As for this week in shows, oh boy, are you all in for treats galore! We kick off Season 4 of #RQGaming with a four part 'side quest', then segue into the winning entry of this year's Rusty Fears 2 - Fear More... writing competition and round out the week with Hartro's evaluations in #StellarFirma - will David-7's machinations come to light? Have they actually designed credible worlds? Find out soon...
