Still not a monster. Unless every addict is evil.

Frank Mayberry

since the coma Jon has been like "I'm a monster now it's OK if I die" and we've been saying, "Noooo! No, you're not a monster!!!" oop.

Ouch. Right in the feels. Well done! Brilliant guest star. Now I need to find a quiet place to go calm down. One that is also very open or without walls.

Heather Nichols

Gah!!!! I mean, just, aaaaahhhhrrrhhh! (This is the written equivalent of standing up from my chair, pulling my hair, turning in circles while wailing - all with a facial expression of pure delight mixed with angst mixed with stress mixed with utter panic induced insanity....and then sitting down to listen to it all again.) Gods I love you people. Such exquisite torture.

Gilligan Mungus

Oh my god, this statement was exactly what we needed to put the whole season in horrible perspective. I can't believe the sheer acceleration of dread and fear and QUALITY you're subjecting us to.

Anne Eilertsen

this was perfect and I love how much it serves to further complicate things! Hoping Martin can work up the nerve/fuckitall to maybe confront John about his actions.

We've been rooting for The Archivist for so long that these types of statements remind us that John isn't exactly innocent or complicit anymore. That his actions have just as much consequences as any of the other avatars for The Fourteen do.

Heather MacKenzie

HMMMMMMMMM MIGHT BE A NEW FAVOURITE... I was uneasy with the previous episode tbh, and this just... "fixed" it (made it worse, in an emotionally destroying way I enjoy). The statement was amazingly written, felt different somehow (the hesitations and present tense), and the guest voice actress did a fantastic job, I feel so hard for poor Name-Unknown Bystander... Also so many questions about the consequences of this! And the post-statement was !!!!!!!!! excellent. Never expected to hear a conversation like that between those two, absolutely thrilled by how it turned out (THE PETTINESS!! the turning of tables!! **and then!!!**) Thanks for breaking my heart and taking care of it again, MagnusPod.

This was excellent. I listened twice in a row and both times I found myself holding my breath for most of the statement. Incredible acting from Evelyn Lockley!! And then Daisy and Martin, and Daisy's insights about everyone's motives... I loved every second. And now I'm going to have to spend the rest of the day thinking inconveniently heavy thoughts about trauma and the marks it leaves on us! Good work. :D

Sarah Becan

Haven't listened to it yet, but just from the description it seems to be a statement I've been dying to hear.
