Railing and rallying

Hi folks,

Merry Monday from Rusty Towers! We hope you’re all safe & well, wherever in the world you are. We’re doing our best to carry on with everything, amidst all the uncertainty here in the UK. Though, this means there’s not a lot new going on to report back this week. But October is fast approaching, and that means Hallowe’en… and some special things that we’ve been working on from the merch front. But more on that in due course.

Quick reminder that for Stellar Firma, a second suggestion form for Season 3 is open. If you’re an organisation in need of some business advice, Stellar Firma Ltd definitely has some words for you! Reminder that the new season starts again on Friday 4th December 2020, and we still have some great hiatus content to bring you, including a behind-the-scenes look at production with Katie (producer) and Maddy (editor), as well some… music from Tim.

Thank you so much to everyone who playtested and submitted feedback for Ensemble. The design team are now going to go through your comments, see what issues were raised and work out what the next steps for the project are. While the playtest may be over, we will be keeping the #ensemble-discussion channel in our Discord server open for folks to carry on playing. 

In other news from the design team, The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book, the anthology that we submitted a game design to, is available for pre-order! You can do so here (Amazon link, though other booksellers are very definitely available). The book also contains a micro-RPG from MacGuffin & Co, and is edited by RQ Friend, James D’Amato of the One Shot Podcast Network, home to great shows like Campaign: Skyjacks, The Broadswords and Asians Represent. And if you’d like a sneak preview of what our game – Hammer of the Earth – is like, well… look out for upcoming episodes of One Shot in October, as Ben Meredith, Sasha Sienna, Jonny Sims and I joined James for a train ride of epic proportions, with dire consequences should we fail! Recorded this past weekend, it was a lot of fun and we’re really looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
