MAG 181 - Ignorance

Comments

One of my favorite episodes! We finally meet the mysterious Salesman & he was the only one with the forethought to plan ahead. My kind of guy!

Miss.Katonic

Absolutely furious that I got to cross "Jon says disorientated," my 184% meme square, off my S5 bingo list

Aydenburd

I liked this moment of reprieve they got. I'd forgotten about Jon's weakening the further he was disconnected from The Eye, his forgetfulness at the end was bittersweet. Forgetting a few days of relaxation with Martin. Martin arguing with Annabelle though...I wonder if this is the monster he is supposed to defeat?

Heather MacKenzie

Light and heavy at the same time. Jon zoning out and the heart-wrenching ending of him forgetting- UGH ouch. Jonny, you brilliant monster, how are we frail emotional humans supposed to survive this story ;___;

pocketCetologist

Loved this too cool, short-lived respite from the apocalypse quest. But I feel so afraid now. Something greatly unnerved me about the way Annabelle said "open-minded".

Rudy Urroz

further proof that Jon is not allowed to have nice things ):

ledgem

Interesting. Having Jon fade away so much so that he cannot even remember being in the oasis. An effect of being the Eye's Avatar, and although mortal again, unable to subsist or remember. A bit like Martin's lonely episode, but instead of his doman causing it, his lack of connection is causing it. I love the parallel.

Kat

I loved Salesa! And am fired up w curiosity at Annabelle’s motives... but the question of most relevance to me: was there bed sharing? If Jon forgets the bed sharing but Martin remembers, 😭

Panko

Dang. This was actually sad.

Tahir Raines

Oof. So bittersweet!

LainyJP

jon :(

Paola Ivanna

Add this to the list of episodes that make me really, really worry about Jon

Laura Bailey

Aw man poor jon! Nooooo, I just want them to be happy! Barking up the wrong tree I guess, haha. Still love the podcast.

Error

....does that mean the tapes arent eye aligned

Jennyclart

salesa was always my favorite recurring non-main-character and i never even IMAGINED we would really meet him and he was 1000x better than i ever would have expected

Turbo Emily

“Childhood knitting accident” lmfao

Bruna G

Ray Chong Nee rules. This episode rules. So worried about Jon lmao ouch

Mantha Grant

Listen...... I know that ending makes perfect sense...... but I was NOT expecting it and it HURT what a HEART-WRENCHING MECHANIC

james evelyn

I loved this episode but the sadness of Jon fading away and not even getting to remember the Oasis is... a lot. We will miss you spooky google when you're gone in the end.

Rebecca Rain

he doth protest too much!!

Sydney Wood

Salesa is life goals, Annabelle is wife goals.

JC

I just keep getting more and more sure about web!martin

Sadie Moon

Salesa's voice actor is so so so so so good. Obsessed with this man. New favourite character. God bless

gojo fujoshi

Yet another nail in the coffin of, "there is no way in hell Jon is going to survive this." 😭

Gina

a sexy and powerful episode

pippin

"Jonathan-Sims-head-archivist-of-the-Magnus-Institute-London!" What a fun balance of humour and intrigue and tragedy. I'm always impressed by how excellently scripted this show is - every line and how it's delivered is so very meaningful.

Lurkin

Salesa, worlds most effective doomsday prep-er. Love that guy, what an inspiration.

Jess

When I saw the CW I knew this was gonna hurt, and it did, but not in the ways I expected. Gotta constantly remind myself not to expect a happy ending. But on the bright side, SALESA 💯

Elina Lily

1) So nice to see someone who's actually pretty happy with their life choices, kudos to that man. 2) Welp, the existence of a camera that can't be perceived by the Eye that generates an aura of secrecy harmful to Beholding-creatures sure seems rich in narrative possibility as the end draws in, especially since he specifically mentioned it can be moved. That's one Chekovian possibility marked up there on the mantelpiece...

Nikki Bee

aint that a mood!

Nikki Bee

I would argue, himself. He's working for himself and that means keeping all the powers in a balancing act

Anna S

Mikaele is an absolute legend. He's like Leitner if Leitner had wisdom or common sense.

JC

“I haven’t had guests since the world ended.” What an unexpectedly relatable statement

Anna Wozniak

"You need ME to tell you something for once?" Great episode! I can't wait for the next one! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Sinclair Cross

Favourite episode this season! When Salesa said "I never forgot who I was working for" what was he referring to? Was he serving a specific power or was he serving all of the powers and doing a balancing act?

Milan Nigam

Salesa is all i wanted!! Such a funky dude!!

Lovisa Martinelle

::::D lovely episode!!! I love him so much! Wah! That was a delight from start to finish! I love all of them so much!

sAZAndorable

if mikaele was the main character, i would be very happy to hear that voice all the time!

corvidae

Salesa and Annabelle are both awful in their own ways and I LOVE THEM BOTH.

GriffinsTreehouse

I experienced the full range of human emotions with this one, lads! Great work!

Maddie B

Firstly: salesa is awesome!! Hes just a delight! Honestly i thought they were gonna have to pull off some sort of camera heist and take that to the panopticon just to see what it'll do but alas... annabelle is a cryptic as ever and i found it ironic that she was insistent martin would be back with an open mind considering the only thing keeping hers together was webs lmao. Also!! Jon!!! Thats so sad!!! He cant remember what it was like to be somewhere nice :((( looking forward to the finale when martin and him settle down somewhere nice and retire :) ty for the ep!!

Owleics

IM SOFT!!! I AM SOFT

Izzy

oh i like him SO MUCH

Murdo Homewood

Wow! What an episode. Reminded me of the Leitner reveal - answers and yet not the ones we expected. Twists upon twists. The end was so quietly heartbreaking in such a soft and beautiful way. Also WHAT are the tape recorders?!! Amazing episode!

ThirdFromTheLeft

Endlessly sad and worried over Jon. yes it’s a tragedy yes i immediately got weepy over the tragic elements in this
