Me: *sees RQG trending on Tumblr, having zero context because I am not caught up*
Me, immediately shouting into my own home: "Alexander J. Newall, WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!"

I'm sorry everyone, I should just log off and have a timeout but I couldn't have any peace until I deleted my previous comment. I hope I didn't mess things up worse by breaking the thread somehow. But I was making people feel bad and I absolutely did not want that. I was out of line and I'll try my damnedest to do better.

Okay, I need to add that nearly 24 hours later I am still leaking tears when I think of last night’s episode.

Rusty Quill shows generally specify in the trauma and misery. I think maybe as a rule if an episode features the tags "character death" then it could be best for someone so sensitive to upsetting content to either skip or wait until there's more episodes? 😬 my genuine non-sarcastic online stranger condolences

Honestly, I had the same thought about Zolf. The way his voice kept wavering, his despondency, his reaction to Cel asking if he could do resurrection...

The acting on this one you guys I won't even go into it. Bravo everybody. Cel coming out of the ship nearly broke my heart... And I want to salute Alex's craft as a narrator in particular because he managed to describe everything in a very vivid way without making it too much, and as a GM with how the characters and players were dealt with. As somebody who's pretty new to RPGs and who's interested in GMing someday that was very enlightening. That ending was very intriguing, can't wait to see how this turns out!!

So, having had a break half-way through where I literally cried and made myself a herbal tea to calm down, I fully expected to be writing “Alex, I no-longer respect your craft!” here. However, this episode was so brilliantly handled by both GM and players/actors that actually I really respect their craft. All of them. The pacing was superb and the way Alex handled his players’ shock and upset, with the knowledge that at some point there would be listeners reacting too, was incredible. I totally empathised with the players when they finished and everyone let out a deep breath - been there at heavy points in campaigns and it can be hard. Thank you to all of you. This story is a real rollercoaster ride.

This was extremly tough i'm not gonna lie. After listening to everything, i truly applaud you all for an amazing episode, gosh the acting you guys! 💖 But i had to take a break after a section, and spent most of the episode grieving honestly 😂 idk if maybe giving a spoiler for the end at the bottom underneath the sfx or patreons could maybe help some of the more anxious ones.

That was a great episode. It was painful and sad, but I knew after the end of the last episode that it would be. I'm glad there's hope of bringing them back, though it seems like the sort of thing that could go badly wrong.
I wish someone had really made sure Zolf was okay. He knew Wilde better (and longer) than anyone else did.

I have truly never felt this kind of pain. You, sir, have done a well good job getting us attached to these characters. I had to stop at 24 minutes for an hour break, and my cousin told me the ending would be worth listening to. Still listening, but goodness the acting and everything in this episode simultaneously amazes and pains me to hear. I'm not sure what this comment is, but goodness gracious you all are creating ART. Keep it up, no matter how much it hurts us all.

Well Done Guys. I had to pause the ep whilst I sat and sobbed for a solid 5 minutes. Brilliant Acting, all of your deserve awards for this one, between Bryn's heart-wrenching cries, Lydia's palpable desperation, Ben's incredible voice wavering and Helen's devastatingly moving comforting I am a total wreck. God DAMN do I respect Alex and his craft even if he is a total nerve shredder! Well Bloody Done Everyone, this episode was PHENONMENAL.

Alex! Damn, that episode was too much. I haven’t ugly cried like the Sasha letter episode but it was a bit of a rollercoaster. I can’t believe we have to wait a whole week for a resolution. The suspense is unbearable.
Update: I’ve had time to digest and listen again. It’s not easier second time but it’s worth it to appreciate just how bloody brilliant the performances by everyone are. Well done all.

I don't know if I can listen to this at all. I actually need a full spoilery rundown of events and a list of casualties before I can even try. Kudos to Alex & co for creating good NPCs I guess, nothing on TMA has ever caused me this sort of distress.
