MAG 188 - Centre of Attention

Comments

I would love to work for the Eye, but I'd hate to be its victim :)

Rurrie

Today I learned The Eye is not my avatar . The idea of everyone watching you is a terrifying sensation and the description of the crowd legitimately unnerved me. This is absolutely and introvert's fear.

Heather MacKenzie

Ugh that was horrible. The description of the crowd was just like when I used to go to school and my bullies would spot me. Their faces would light up with joy and anticipation. Amazing how these things stay with you.

Sophia Smithers

Two words: oh boy. β€πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ

Sinclair Cross

The soundscaping in this one !! Amazing. The eye swallowing her was absolutely disgusting and creepy. Brilliant as usual

Sashvinx

Can I just say how INCREDIBLY weird it felt to listen to this. I'm not used to hearing my name in media haha

Karman Amdal

This was such a cool episode!

Alexandra DeCarlo

....what does that mean what are you about to do Jon. D:

Laura Bailey

I wrote a long-ass comment but the Web ate it D:

Juls SK Vernet

Well, that’s most of us traumatised just a little more. The Ceaseless Watcher is always with us, whether our own neurosis or the 500k cameras watching us in London (insert your own location here!)

Lulu Last

Adding my please please please to this as well. Just a quick β€œthe Admiral is fine” interlude. He must be protected at all costs. πŸ’œπŸ±

Gilligan Mungus

Special request: i Know next week will probably be a cliffhanger bc hiatus and the combined force of jonny and alex is just pure evil but can we PLEASE get a supplemental of just 30 secs of the admiral purring- it doesnt have to make "sense" or anything dumb like that- i just need it... i demand kitty!!!! Give us the kitty!!! the people want CAT!!!! Pretty please :)

Owleics

Incredible work as always, this was powerfully awful, all that focus, all that scrutibilty. Ceaseless Watcher indeed. And that ending. I am not ready for what is to come and I can't wait!

MuddyHippy

I loved the part where she finds the eye in the wall. The image of it swallowing her into its cold pupil was incredibly creepily evocative. Also the ending as quite interesting indeed.... I am very excited for the next episode except also not because I dread the hiatus and the inevitable cliffhanger we will have to deal with.

ThirdFromTheLeft

Reminds me of 'Mid-Season Eyeball' from that joke list of season 2 episode titles...

Rozzlynn

Great eppy soad! I loved the auditory transitions on this one, especially the one from the street to the therapists office. The click of the pen was so jarring (in the good spooky horror podcast way) and so effective in establishing setting!! Loved it!!

Owleics

Great, I can tick "Eyeballs???" off my prediction bingo list. Success!

Lurkin

mmmmmm, the SHIVERS i got from this one. wow. i also just had a little moment thinking about that transition from the Lonely, which feasts on hidden, private suffering, to the Eye, which wants everything in plain sight. how much sense it makes, that martin and jon are drawn to each other. i come from one of those suburban houses with many private, hidden stories to tell and heavy secrets to keep, and no matter how embarrassing and against my nature it might be, i can't tell you how much i sometimes wish it could all just be Seen. i found it interesting that i didn't quite feel fear when i listened to this statement. i found myself almost thinking, if someone would come up to me on the street and list all my failures and little heartbreaks, maybe i wouldn't have to keep them hidden in that cookie cutter suburban house anymore. they'd be free. anyway: today's little bit of self-discovery is sponsored by TMA yet again! the Entities are a hell of a framework for things, as usual!

martin kachow blackwood

I hate being center, let's see what's in store...

Sadie Moon

Gee thanks Jonny! Didn't think I was gonna be getting called out like this. Also LONDON!!!

Jess Swinburne

This statement is just what being in middle school is like...

Abigail Espinoza

TMA is a horror podcast indeed.

eleanor is fine

"let's see if I'm worthy of your attention" OOOOOOH can't wait for Jon to go be a badass!!!

Lavanya Annette

Excellent, loving the eye imagery. Very excited for what’s to come!

George O-m

I don’t think I’ve ever been made sick by a statement like this before, it’s literally a deep nightmare of mine. Bravo Jonny.

James White

Oof that was so good!!
