Me before this episode: Wow, Carter is the worst. Me afterwards: Carter is so relatable, poor baby.

Had my heart in my throat the entire time when Zolf was talking to Wilde. When he grabbed him by the lapels? I thought that was IT baby

Is it safe to say that every single one of us choked when Zolf grabbed Oscar by the lapels..........?

I am genuinely impressed Zolf managed to get Wilde! Also, little Carter and Azu was beautiful! The metaphor of the unsolvable puzzle was also very cool!
Overall, I loved everything. I can't wait for the next one! β€π§‘ππππ

My gods, everyone continues to blow me away with how amazing they are with each and every episode. And ngl, this may be one of my all time favorite episodes because everyone did such a phenomenal job, and I just love seeing the character interactions, to see the relationships they've all formed - it's all so utterly lovely and fills my heart with joy.
Also, Wilde, Carter, and Sasara (sp?) are far too relatable in their reasons for perhaps wanting to stay.

I was definitely yelling at Zolf to just tell Wilde that he likes him. And then 'You're such a dick'. LOL. I laughed the hysterical laugh of someone letting out two months worth of tension. This was a fantastic episode and I'm weirdly proud of all the characters for navigating their individual situations. Also Alex was great - he made it all just challenging enough that I was still worried they would fail but held the hope that they would bring them all back.

Oh god! From nearly in tears over Wilde asking Zolf to give him one reason to laughing at the holiday comment! Full-on snort-laughing at the two bears with four arms and swords to nearly crying again! Not even at Sasra yet! π

Ok, previous comment not enough. The cast were their usual amazing selves but Iβve got to single out Alex. The way you crafted and then guided them through the episode - and then to play three npc parts so beautifully. I felt each individual personality - you deserve much kudos. Well done

I cried and I'm happy and I loved it and I have so so many feelings
Also s/o to how unexpectedly touching Carter's scenes were, as a "gifted kid" who grew up with undiagnosed ADHD his scenes resonated so so much with me and I did not expect to have so many feelings about him but here we are

Thank you for this episode. i cried through most of it, but there were happy tears in there with the sad ones. And just to echo what sazandorable said above, this feels fulfilling and validating in a way that so few stories do, so thank you. <3 <3 <3

Okay, so to be clear the ENTIRE EPISODE was absolutely amazing and I got tears at least once every scene, and yall know fandom, yall know some of us have been shipping this, okay β but seriously, once again: really, it's not ~just slash fangirls~, it's so much more than that. It's validating, it's hopeful, it's loving. I'm not even old yet but I am currently completely overwhelmed with old, tired, mentally ill, queer feelings and the prospect of being able to be that and to be happy. It's triumphant. This, like every single reveal of a character's queerness or queer relationship in this show or in Magnus, is making me feel real and alive and happy and loved. Thank you so much for this. Yall doing so much good.
