Merry Monday from Rusty Towers! It’s time for us to launch the rockets of celestial commerce once again and welcome back Stellar Firma! For this week sees the return of Trexel Geistman and David 7 for more off-the-cuff comedic shenanigans in the third and final season of our sci-fi show. And thank you to everyone who submitted suggestions during the season break for Tim & Ben to get to work on!
In other show news, we kick off the mid-season break for The Magnus Archives with a retrospective look, as Jonny poses a few questions to various cast members, past and present, about their involvement with the show. Tune in to hear what Sue Sims, Mike LeBeau, Chioma Nwalioba, Frank Voss, Ben Meredith and more have to say!
And we will shortly be taking a break in the main RQGaming campaign to bring you our ‘seasonal’ special for this year. Starting on 16th December, we have a three part
game of indie RPG Bite Marks, featuring Helen, Ben, Bryn & Alex as werewolves, under the guiding hand of special guest GM Becky Annison, the game’s designer!
With RQ: Gaming & Giving 2020 now less than 2 weeks away, we hope you’re looking forward to what is our most ambitious event yet! You’ll be able to watch the whole 24hr livestream in one place on our Twitch channel (http://www.twitch.tv/rusty_quill) at 11am GMT on Saturday 12th December. We will be bringing you a full day of digital fun, as we try to raise £20,000 for good causes this year!
That’s right, ‘causes’ plural – as we will be fundraising for three charities, with all money given being split equally between:
- Mind, the mental health charity (www.mind.org.uk)
- ActionAid, for international poverty relief (www.actionaid.org)
- The Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (www.baatn.org.uk)
We hope you’ll be able to tune in and help get us to our target for these great causes. More details to come, including special guests and milestone rewards!
And I’m also pleased to announce that we’ve managed to sneak in one more small set of designs before the new year that will be available on both our TeePublic and Redbubble stores this weekend. We’re just finalising the artwork but you can expect a special notification in your Patreon inboxes later this week with the images, or watch the public reveal on Mike’s stream this Saturday!

Hope Hamid doesn’t hurt the bear too bad with his fire spells. And sooo excited for Stellar Firma season three!!! That title makes me thing they are going to be in disguise in public... how would David 7 handle being in a crowd (around more than 2 other people at once)?

I'm torn between complaining about yall trying to kill us with RQG main campaign breaks, but that special does sound like great fun (is that the same Becky who guested at a past RQGG? would be lovely to hear them again!) And the excitement for RQGG2020 is exponential every week... <3 <3
