An annual extravaganza

Hi folks,

Merry Monday from Rusty Towers! It’s all go here at the moment, as we spruce the place up in readiness for this weekend’s charity festivities. We hope as many of you as possible can tune in at some point over the 24hrs to help cheer us along as we raise money for three very worthy causes.

In a little bit of admin news – starting today, we are activating a new feature from Patreon that will allow you the option to sign up for annual subscriptions to Rusty Quill. Folks who want to, can now take advantage of a single payment that gives a full year’s access to all the RQ Patreon benefits and bonus material, alongside a discount equivalent to two months free!

With RQ: Gaming & Giving 2020 now just 5 days away, our most ambitious event will see a large number of the RQ Crew, both UK and US, aiming to raise £20,000 in 24 hours for our three nominated charities: Mind, Action Aid, and The Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN)! Digital fun and fully streamed shenanigans galore can be found on at http://www.twitch.tv/rusty_quill, starting 11am GMT on Saturday 12th December. We’ll be advertising this widely across our various social media channels, and we’d really appreciate any help you can give in spreading the word about this event.

This year’s RQGG will see the biggest gathering of RQ Crew yet as we come together for things like:

- Alex & Jonny playing Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
- More blind dates in Billionaire Banshee
- ‘family fun’ card games on Tabletop Simulator
- Among Us, Monster Prom, Golf With Your Friends, and much more!

And special guests this year include:

- Alasdair Stuart and Marguerite Kenner of EA Podcasts
- the now perennially acclaimed Xmas TRPG one-shot hosted by Grant Howitt
- John Robertson presenting The Dark Room
- James Ross & Sarah “Gryph” Griffon joining Helen & Autumn for a seasonal Dungeons & Leopards adventure!

One more thing – last Saturday we released new merch designs that are now available on our Redbubble and TeePublic stores, including designs for a What The Ghost? logo and a Bone Apple Teeth anatomical drawing! There were a couple of errors with the files that were originally sent, but those have now been corrected, so please visit that post to get the updated images.
