I listened to this episode about three times today; the writing in TMA just slaps so incredibly fuckin hard I like the way each fear gets a slightly to very different take every time y'all write about them; the Buried is now among many other things the eldritch god of failure to act in solidarity with your class

All the hinting about false hope in this statement is making me nervous...but eerily beautiful writing! Hell yes Martin, no beating around the bush it’s the apocalypse and it’s time to kick some fucking ass!! I also really really hope Helen eventually just joins them as their third buddy on the apocalypse quest, she’s raring to go!! And I love how the swearing is minimalist in this series so it has much more impact when they do drop an f bomb like Jon did in this episode.

I hate The Buried too, John. That said the skill and talent with which Jonny writes the Fears as analogies for real world socio-economic issues is so freaking impressive. I look forward to schools dissecting Jonny’s work in various classes and the study guides that shall inevitably be created. The nuances in his writing DESERVE to be studied and inspire awe in burgeoning writers for eons to come.

This has probably been said many times before but murder!Martin is amazing. For once, Jon is shocked at him xD And Helen brings the much needed levity into this nightmare landscape. This trio is just so much fun to listen to. So did worm!Richard actually die? I mean, is anybody really dying these days? I doubt ppl are reproducing much and killing off their 'livestock' doesn't seem that smart of the fear entities.
