Given the current state of world affairs, it’s a bit of a subdued mood all around. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to everyone in our community; we hope that folks are staying safe and taking the relevant precautions if you have to go out, for whatever reason.
We hope you enjoyed the season finale of Stellar Firma – Trexel, David 7 and the rest will return on December 4th 2020 (3rd for early access) for its third and final season. Tune in for the thrilling conclusion to this tale of celestial capitalism and clone convolutions!
And a reminder that the mailbag for Season 2 questions is now open and taking your questions for Tim and/or Ben. We will be closing submissions for this next week at 8am BST on Monday 8th June, so be sure to get yours in soon.
On the merch front, I’m pleased to say that we’ve managed to get hold of the transparent versions of the Stellar Firma and new Magnus Archives logos. We know that many of you have been asking for these, so hopefully expect to see them up in the Redbubble store within the week. I’ll announce on social media exactly when they are ready.
On that front, I would just like to remind folks that, currently, the only source of official Rusty Quill merchandise is the Rusty Quill Redbubble store. We are aware of copycat storefronts, notably on Redbubble & Amazon, purporting to sell RQ designs – these are completely unsanctioned. The same goes for any other storefront selling designs based on our shows. Whilst we are working on a commercial fanworks policy, this is not yet in place. When it is, we will be sure to announce it widely.
New month, new shows on RQ Streams! I said last week that we were looking to bring new faces onto the Twitch channel, and we start this Sunday with Tim & Ben Meredith in the hotseats for an eventful session of Portal 2… Or rather, I should say, Trexel Geistman and David 7 attempt to co-operate under the caring guidance of I.M.O.G.E.N... I mean, GLADOS. And you can expect to watch new folks each Sunday as we rotate the slot amongst the crew.
As we have said before, Rusty Quill is not apolitical and we will continue to highlight issues that we feel are important and relevant to our crew & community. As such, we want to assure you all that Rusty Quill stands with the Black community, with all the POC among our crew, performers, friends, creators & fans, and all those out there striving for a better world.
