Friends, falling and finding out

Hi folks,

Good wishes from all us to you all at the start of another week! We hope you’re continuing to stay safe and well in these difficult times. Here at Rusty Towers, we’re doing a little remodelling to make some room for new crewmembers, who I look forward to introducing to you soon! 

And speaking of introductions, I hope you’ve been enjoying seeing some new faces on RQ Streams over the last few weeks, including some of the behind-the-scenes folks like our stalwart editors. We’re certainly eager to bring you more from the various talents we have amongst the crew.

If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen, do let us know and if there’s anything you’d like to see more of. It’s certainly thanks to your ongoing support and generosity, both here and on Twitch, that we can continue to expand the project! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can catch up on the VODs or older shows are archived on our YouTube channel.

And you can also expect to see some RQ Friends on our channel! In fact, coming up this Sunday, Frank Voss (VA for Basira) will be taking the reins with an interesting indie atmospheric horror game. And, in the near future, we’ll be welcoming Alasdair Stuart (VA for Peter Lukas) too!

Reminder that we bring the curtain down on Act I of The Magnus Archive’s final season with this week’s episode. Tune in to find out what The Archivist and Martin will discover before we take a six-week breather, to return anew on 3rd September! 

We will be keeping the feed running during the break, though I’m afraid we can’t make it all new material for this one. But you can look forward to some declassified highlights from the Patreon back catalogue, as well as the audio recording of the first ever live show for The Magnus Archives, taped at the London Podcast Festival in November last year.

In big news this week though - after having been our $2000 Patreon milestone, originally set way back in the dim and distant days of 2017 – I am finally pleased to announce that the long-awaited beta version of our Tabletop Roleplaying Game, Ensemble, is ready for playtesting! Stay tuned for full details coming this Friday, along with a complete set of the rules as they currently stand.
