YAY BASIRA!!!! (yaaay not having to wait 6 weeks because it's 4 years later!)

Rurrie

the sound scaping on this episode really just blew me out of the water! amazing job as always and hope you all take care of yourselves during the hiatus!

Rhia

I was wondering how you managed to crank these out even during COVID - 100% take all the time you need, and take care of yourselves.

Alex

I had the same thought with this statement. I liked it almost as much as the Stranger's "statement"

Heather MacKenzie

The free verse poem for the Hunt was almost as good as the creepy Stranger poem. Definitely my 2nd favorite "statement". The interaction between Martin and the Archivist in this episode made me realize that people should probably not start a romantic relationship at the beginning of an Apocalypse. It's nice to hear Basira again, I'd forgotten how much she and the Archivist have this hate/ tolerate relationship. What a good way to start the first break.

Heather MacKenzie

My first episode early as a Patron and what a good one. I mean, they are all good, but yeah. I absolutely love how poetic some of the statements can get. Beautiful and haunting as they pull you in.

Rebecca Rain

im gonna spend the next six weeks thinking about these three looking for daisy. its silly to hope for a nice little reunion but oh well. love you daisy, i hope things don't end to horribly. a little bit of horrible is fine! just not too much.

Paola Ivanna

I swear to god Jon start telling Martin what's up before SOMEONE ELSE DOES

Maddie

Her story was so tragic and the way the fears honed in on her and her family always felt pointlessly cruel. And instead of trying to appease the cosmic forces twisting her life, our Juju got properly pissed and hooked up with a cantankerous vampire hunting vagabond, who too often chased dragons as well. F for Julia, the girl who fought back.

Mary Zorn

Ah yes, a fellow affenciando of those unconscious, lovely little fightened sighs and squeaks and gasps. Magnus feeds us well.

Mary Zorn

You beautiful wonderful awful people, how dare you give us such a *terrific* cliff hanger. (Already preparing my Do You Remember that 3rd Day in September dance vid to celebrate return)

Mary Zorn

30 cents a day is NOT ENOUGH money how do I pay these people more the suspense the sass the Martin squeaks...

Lasgalendil

serious high-school flashbacks

Oltanya

I'm relistening and now that I'm not shaking in terror Jon's nonchalance to Trevor has me in hysterics

PensAreIllegal

okay first if all. i never wouldve thought i liked julia so much as to cry about her but here we are. and also this is how daisy could still be alive and well plays on repeat in my head rn

Citruslusche

This was great! Don't know how many times I rewound the conversation in the beginning. Martin complaining about being "stalked through the woods!" was especially pleasing to my ears, for some reason. And that ending!

Io

I am feeling so many things right now

Of Winter

I had decided that I would hold off listening for a few weeks, so that I would be closer to the beginning of Act II, giving me something to bridge the weeks of hiatus. I lasted 2 hours. 😞 It was a great episode to end Act I with!

LainyJP

amazing soundscaping, amazing performances, can't wait to see what the rest of the world thinks

jayce plantenberg

Asking the important question we’re all thinking. 👍

Gilligan Mungus

The best episode in a season of stunning episodes. Very satisfying last ep before the hiatus!

K. C. Millheiser

So when is that Hunt coffee mug going to be available for purchase?

Elizabeth Sparks

Holy shit that was SO MUCH FUN. That was a fun ep oh man. Best of luck to y'all in the hiatus!

Arcturus

THIS WAS DELIGHTFUL

cecilfae

That didn't end as I was expecting, but it does provide a good end for the act. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Mark Sutton

That was the best part of the episode. I’m so glad it came after Trevor - helped ease the downer-ness of it all.

Gilligan Mungus

I yelled “son of a BITCH” far too loudly when the episode ended. You guys are evil and I love it

GriffinsTreehouse

Oh poor Trevor. The only good thing in his life - his found daughter - and she died before he did. I truly feel awful for him. ☹️

Gilligan Mungus

what a fantastic episode. Time to do 6 weeks of frantic fanart in preparation for Act 2 <3 thank youuu

Mantha Grant

BASIRA MY LOVE!! Oh this was really nice episode!!

sasmus

Oooh a fantastic listen! What a tense episode... Any kind of hunting and stalking reaaallly spooks me. Anyways, excellent as always - Hope you all have a good hiatus.

Lurkin

WHERE IS OUR GIRL ^^ also same need to take a damn NAP after that

ttroutlaw

Oh man you guys got me. good christ I need to lay down

Megan Aguilar-Ames

cant believe jon and martin ANNOYED basira into believing its really them. i know theres the apocalypse and all, but this is still the best timeline

james evelyn

my hands are literally shaking! let's do this!

Idris

oh dear, oh dear, I don't like the warnings. Edit: Ha ha, hahahahahaha. Oh you teasing fuckers.
