[Knights] Ensemble - A Rusty Quill TRPG!

In 2017, we launched our Patreon with a milestone, where we pledged to create a Tabletop Roleplaying Game of our very own, roleplaying being something that is near and dear to many of our hearts at Rusty Towers.

And we know that many of you share that love for games, which is why we are very pleased to bring you the first look at what we've been working on! It's taken a while, but the design team of Ben, Sasha, Jonny and myself are now at a point, after much deliberation and work, where we would like to see what you think!

Working on a premise of trying to emulate the character-led, weekly episode, television adventures many of us are familiar with, we present Ensemble! Do you want high-school hijinks, shifting sci-fi scenarios, monster-of-the-week battles, dramatic soap operas? Whatever your favourite genre show, we hope that you can emulate that in our new system, built from the ground, up.

So, attached to this message, is a pdf document containing the first version of the Ensemble Rulebook. We've also included a link to a GoogleDocs version, in case you'd prefer to have it in a different format that works better for you. Please note, the link does come with a daily download limit, so please try again later if you can't access it immediately.

Key points to note:
1) You can share & discuss this document and playtest these rules with your own playgroups, even if they aren't Patrons.
2) We are running this playtest for a minimum of 6 weeks, and possibly longer, to ensure folks have a good opportunity to get to grips with it.
3) We are not looking for immediate feedback - please don't post any on this post, we will open up a feedback form for you to provide your thoughts in due course.
4) Ensemble is a 'toolbox' for your imaginations. This does not come with a 'setting' - this is not Erasing the Line / The Magnus Archives / Stellar Firma the RPG, although all three are feasible playgrounds for games.
5) This is not the final layout or phrasing for any part of the document.
6) Please be honest and appropriately critical with your feedback/discussions.

What happens next? We think we have a solid system here that is fun to play, but we will use your feedback to determine if that is the case and work out our next steps for the project.
