Setting out the stall

Hi folks,

Merry Monday from Rusty Towers! As our new crew get settled in, we’re still busy getting things sorted for the latter half of 2020, notably Act II of The Magnus Archives, Season 3 of Stellar Firma, RQ Gaming & Giving 2020, as well as some other things bubbling away in the Development Labs…

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to our first external collaboration on RQ Streams on Saturday. Fall Guys with Australian streamer LuckyBonez (www.twitch.tv/LuckyBonez) was highly entertaining and colourful (in many senses of the word 😉) and we’re very grateful they were able to join us! This week sees another full weekend, as we look to engage a bit more with the community.

On Saturday, tune in for shenanigans as April and I join Mike to celebrate his birthday on air! Details to come, but expect some reprisals of past games and maybe even some party games. Plus on Sunday, we return to the field of battle, as April & Mike rumble again in War Thunder – and, this time, if you are also a player, we’re looking to squad up with the community. If you play and are available on Sunday during stream time, simply send your username/game ID to video@rustyquill.com and Mike will select folks to join them! Depending on numbers, we may not be able to accommodate everyone, but we’ll try and do this as fairly as possible.

But also on Saturday’s stream… we’ll be setting live the promised Wave 2 of this year’s merch on our Redbubble store! That’s right, a new set of 7 designs for you to adorn apparel and sundries, featuring: - The Magnus Archives ‘Panopticon’ logo, by Anika Khan - Rusty Quill Gaming ‘Group Shot’ (Sasha, Azu, Grizzop & Hamid), by Anna Landin - RQ Streams ‘Stream Team in Space’ and ‘The Comfort Crew’, by April Sumner (VeraRaeArt) - Show slogans: ‘I Have A Bucket With Your Name On It’ (Rusty Quill Gaming), ‘Enjoy Sky Blue’ (The Magnus Archives), ‘Watch It Buster’ (Stellar Firma)

The slogan designs are a bit of an experiment, and if there are other such quotes that you’d like to see on a design, do let us know at mail@rustyquill.com or dropping us a message on here.

You can find high-res versions of all the designs attached to this newsletter. And we’ll be showing off the designs to the public on Saturday’s launch stream. In other upcoming merch news as well, keep an Eye on Hallowe’en (Saturday 31st October) as we have something very special, and very Magnus Archives indeed, coming that day!
