Pirates and PO Boxes

Hello all!

We at Rusty Towers hope you’re doing well, and we’re here to help you get August started off on the right foot.

In case you missed Thursday’s announcement, there’s some seriously big news on the horizon. Trice Forgotten is a swashbuckling, spirited pirate adventure produced by Rusty Quill and premiering in 2022. For more details and a sneak-peek at the incredible promo image, make sure to check out last week’s letter. We also can’t forget the approaching release for the public season of Enthusigasm, where host Helen Gould will be chatting with Rusty Quill crew and friends about some of the things that they love the most. While this new season of Enthusigasm will be given a public release, our Patrons will be treated to special, extra-length episodes. And as always, keep an eye out for more announcements as Rusty Quill works to continue expanding its network of friends.

We have some good news for everyone that has waited for our P.O box to open.  
As of today, the service is being reinstalled! That means if anyone wishes to send us mail they can, they can post it to us using this address: 27 Old Gloucester St, London WC1N 3AX

However there have been a few changes we need to make you aware of.
We can no longer accept certain items so we've laid out some guidance below: 

- Please ensure the item is addressed to Rusty Quill on the packaging, you can of course address to someone in particular inside the parcel. If it doesn't say Rusty Quill I'm afraid it won't get redirected to us and will be destroyed on site.
- We can't accept heavy items
- We can't accept perishable goods with less than 12 month expiry
- We can't accept parcels bigger than 33x35x38cm
- We aren’t able to send items back to sender (for example, autographed items) or forward items on to other fans
- Obviously any dangerous items would be prohibited too, such as decorative knives, or real ones!

If a parcel arrives that does not abide these criteria I'm afraid the P.O box service will destroy prior to RQ ever seeing it. We would hate for this to happen so please be extra careful!

On Wednesday 4th August, Magnus editor Elizabeth Moffatt will be hosting another Discord Live event. Join her at 7:30 PM BST as she presents a miniature workshop on audio editing and provides an exclusive behind the scenes showcase of the editing process for episode 200 of the Magnus Archives. As always, these Discord Live events are available to our Nobles only. We hope to see you at www.discord.gg/rustyquill for this fascinating peek at some of Liz’s incredible work!

If you’re interested in participating in Rusty Fears 5, you officially have less than a week to get your entry in! You can find the rules and a link to the entry form on our website. The competition will be closing on August 8th.

Finally, we’ve got some great things happening this week in our shows. Rusty Quill Gaming sees a return to its main campaign with episode 204 with the party revisits London and begins making some plans. Our Stellar Firma bonus content this week will be letting you peek behind the curtains, as Rusty Quill’s Rhys Tirado has “been given unrestricted access to the creative minds behind the phenomenon that is Stellar Firma.” They will be trying to figure out what makes them go tick-tock, tick-tock, ring-ring genius time. Join them as they go behind the waveform.
