Of all the statements, I absolutely adore this one the most. What an amazingly relatable yet foreign take on toxic dependency that preys on kindness. Amazing job yall!!!

Brandon Barnes

Amazing, and always love Sue reading a statement, chilling!

Rebecca Dupont

Awesome, I've loved Sue Sims statements, hopefully there might be more in the future!

HazelnuttGem

*heart eyes* I loved this! What a great story!

sAZAndorable

I adore this episode! Great work from both Imogen and Sue

(Hey other RQ Patrons, this comment contains very vague spoilers for this release, I've done my best to talk around them) This was fantastic! I've always loved Sue's performances, and the character voices are amazing. That last line is so powerfully delivered, wow! And the writing was spectacular - such a great exploration and subversion of so many familiar motifs from folk and fairy tales, delivered in a specific and humane way. A comment for RQ staff, and apologies if this is better left elsewhere, but you may want to include, in the content warnings, a reference to 'themes of postpartum/postnatal depression, including resentment to a creature in your care'. I'm personally childfree, but a happy Cool Aunt to many kids, and my first point of reference/analogy for the statement giver and their feelings about their 'houseguest' was that of a new parent suffering severe PPD, who is experiencing resentment and intrusive thoughts about their child. While I'm personally not hit hard by this, there could easily be others in your older audiences who would be. (Truly, though, what a great, terrible story.)

Pine Hutch

Well done Imogen and Sue!

Chills!! Loved it

Julova

This was enthralling! What a beautifully horrible story! Very well written and narrated. Absolutely loved it.

LainyJP

Omg this was so well written and narrated!

TakYelgif

Good holy expletive, you have parasitic Tailypo in Britain?! O.O

Andrew Hamilton

Oh man I *really* enjoyed how skillfully this wove the physical and psychological meanings of corruption. Rot and toxic relationships and good things gone wrong all managing to avoid hitting anything "too real" and being too intense. 10/10

Jennifer

That. Was. Phenomenal.

Cat Thompson

So so happy that Imogen wrote this piece and ye produced it! Also on a very selfish note the Magnus themed RPG campaign I'm currently running features a small animal who has been "altered" somehow and this provided the BEST possible direction to go with from there
