Commenting on this episode from 2 bloody years ago because I just- I DONT EVEN RESPECT HIS CRAFT ANYMORE! /lh

Alex, you’re a monster!

Pip Walker

I don’t often find myself physically facepalming.... But this one got me. Gods, that is an excellent callback and I agree with Helen

Miria

god I love skraak so very much

Leni

Aside from everything else the Big Ben description had me grinning like a fool - I'd been idly wondering when Other London was first introduced whether it still existed, so thanks for confirming in the worst way possible.

Elinor Percival

So many good moments and explorations this episode, but I just want to shout out (again) to Tessa Vroom's incredible soundscaping. It really enhances the episode, especially in the final sequence when the party go to the surface. The deep, almost subsonic undertone made the atmosphere so chilling, and the shuffling, clanking soundscaping really added to the dread. Plus those clicks really get me at the back of the neck. Thank you, we respect your craft too <3

ALEXANDER! There was me still feeling all nostalgic and bittersweet about the alley Hamid and Zolf met Sasha in, and then he hits us with The One That Got Away and I just... I am not emotionally equipped for this. I loved Azu's read of Zolf and Hamid's relationship, because it's what I've been thinking about them for a while. I feel they respect each other's abilities, but they're not really friends and haven't been for a while. And that's ok. Sometimes it's like that, and I'm glad to see it acknowledged and explored.

Marie

I was just thinking the other day that Alex is an absolute chaos gremlin, so thanks for the validation Helen 😂

Kirsti S

Lydia's description skills = A+

Fitzlet

I respect his craft but its definitely a more spiteful respect at this point Oh and that soundscaping! I got chills several times throughout this episode. Its /so good/!!

ALEXANDERRRR JAAAYY NYOOWAAAALLLL!!!! That ending, AUUGHHHHH

sAZAndorable

Gotta agree with you there. Especially because the solution is probably going to be more stilted Emotionally Healthy Psychological Analysis, and I love these people, but the therapy talk can DIAF.

Issendai

I honestly thought that was just going to be a loose end that never got tied up, because the party never asked the right questions. I'm not sure whether I'm pleased to be wrong or not.

Mel Andrews

Skraak my beloved

Alfie

I really liked Azu's observation about Hamid and Zolf. It's really interesting to me to have a group of people who don't all get along but they do the thing together because it's the greater good and they're the best option they all have. Kudos to Ben and Bryn for playing that dynamic so well!

Elvaralinde

Alexander J Newall has a lot to answer for but I begrudgingly respect his craft

Dr. Teatime

I had to get it explained to me too - it seems that Brock told Sasha to "find the one that got away" at some point

Elvaralinde

I am confused about the ending would someone mind explaining?

Eva Rose

I get the emotional turmoil / sadness that Zolf feels, and it's really interesting and adds a layer to his character. But at the same time, Zolf and Hamid always having the same argument, and Zolf "nope-ing" out of the situation only makes it go in circle? Like there's no character development/not advancing the story. (It's also maybe because my poor queer heart is sad that it breaks the Found family feels lmao)

Laure Gagnon-Tremblay

Oh Zolf. I love him so much. And he's just so upset all the time, which is understandable, but sad.

Jack Bird
