You may have noticed that, a few hours after our newsletter last week, our brand new website went live! We knew it was coming sometime last week but we did not expect it to be quite that hot on the heels of the newsletter so apologies for any confusion there.

There have been some big changes over at rustyquill.com. This website update is more than just a facelift – we’ve really focussed on creating a website that is easy to use and can grow as we do. We’ve updated every single page – a mammoth task for our small IT Team, who have been working for months to get everything ready. We’re aware that there are some bugs – please bear with us while we work to correct these. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you can email us at mail@rustyquill.com to let us know.

Transcript Weekly Transcript update: 28/02/22
This will be our final weekly transcript update. However, we may still post updates from time to time as transcripts are an ongoing process.

There are now transcripts available for Rusty Quill Gaming, The Magnus Archives, Stellar Firma, Inexplicables and Enthusigasm. New episodes of New Player Challenges, Enthusigasm and Compulsory Film Appreciation will release with transcripts.

We are still actively working on transcripts, and you may notice that over the next few weeks some are switched out, added or updated. Our focus has been on ensuring that there is something available. Due to the complexity of the transcription, as well as the recent reformatting, these transcripts may include some specific errors. You may also use the error form to highlight any issues or raise any concerns.

In other news, after a week of teasers, Compulsory Film Appreciation will launch at 5pm today! This week, as you may have guessed, Hartro and IMOGEN are appreciating the action Christmas classic, Die Hard. After some mysterious boxes are found, it is decided that Hartro needs a hobby and that that hobby should be film appreciation. Hartro may not know what a film is, but she’s ready to find out - and to have facilitated post-film discussions with an omnipresent AI. What will she and IMOGEN make of John McClane and Hans Gruber? Find out at 5pm today. For those of you who would like to watch the films along with Hartro, the next film she will be appreciating is Footloose.

Meanwhile, on Rusty Quill Gaming, we’re revisiting Ancient Rome, in Return of Roman Rogues. This time, they’re playing with Scene Thieves by Tyler Crumrine, a theatrical roleplaying game where players write a play whilst planning an elaborate heist at the same time. Featuring Ben, Helen, Lowri and Lydia, there will be some familiar names from the last time we visited Sasha’s troupe of thieves, but also some new characters. The set-up and setting of this one are particularly fun: not one to miss!

For the rest of the week, we have the third instalment of Farming Simulator with NPC and on Enthusigasm, Helen, Elizabeth, Lowri and Shamini are talking about Musicals.
