Announcing: The Rusty Quill Gaming Dice Set

Hi folks,

When the final episode of Rusty Quill Gaming was first recorded and we know that the show was coming to an end, we knew that we wanted to mark the end of the show with something really special.

Now, we can finally announce The Rusty Quill Gaming Dice Sets (yes, that’s right: plural), which will be available for pre-order very soon.

The dice sets are being made and distributed working closely with Dice Dungeon, a UK-based company that specialises in beautiful, high-quality dice for all kinds of players. When we found Dice Dungeon during our research, we knew immediately that we wanted to work with them, and their insight and expertise has been invaluable throughout this entire project. We strongly recommend that you check out their website, as they have some outstanding dice sets available to ship worldwide.

When we approached Dice Dungeon, we gave them a four-page moodboard (see below for an exclusive look at what this involved) and discussed some of our ideas for what a dice set could look like.

Below, we have an exclusive small sneak preview of the renders of the dice sets. We'll reveal the full renders when the pre-order opens. 

The ‘We’re Still Working on the Name’ Dice Set

This will be a standard set of seven custom polyhedral dice, featuring icons designed by our very own April Sumner. They will come with a custom presentation tin.

The ‘L.O.L.O.M.G. Deluxe’ Dice Set

The Deluxe set is just a little bit more special. Injected resin is encased by brass-coloured metal in a cog-like shape. As well as the seven dice, which again feature artwork by April Sumner, the deluxe set will come with an extra special presentation box, featuring a customised engraving. We’ll be revealing more about the box when the pre-orders go live, but it is something really quite special.

We will have an extended pre-order period, and Patreons will get early access to the pre-order on the 2nd May at an exclusive early bird discounted price. The sets will be launched publicly on 4th May.

Samples of both sets of dice are being made now and we will share these as soon as we can.
