We’re still getting everything ready for the end of the year here at Rusty Towers, but we’re starting to look forward to 2022. This year was huge for us, but we’re getting really excited about our plans for 2022 – we can’t wait to show you what we’re working on.

As for the Patreon feed this week, we’re starting this week off strong with another instalment of the adventures of Casper Brankin-Newall in Pets of Rusty Towers. Something strange is happening in the Tower, but Casper is a curious cat on the case!

Meanwhile, tomorrow on Rusty Quill Gaming we’re beginning to feel festive as we have the first part (of three) of our Holiday Special: Himbo Treasure Hunt, hosted by Sasha Sienna and featuring Ben Meredith, Lydia Nicholas and Maddy Searle. This game (designed by Sasha Sienna and Grant Howitt) is exactly what you’re imagining – a group of attractive, muscular, kind-hearted, and not academically inclined people join forces against nasty capitalist flat developers, hunting for treasure and being pure of heart.

On Thursday on Enthusigasm we’re talking about Indie Games! Joining Helen this week is Maddy Searle, Rusty Quill editor and director and Nathan Blades, a TTRPG designer, streamer and voice actor. If you like Indie Games (or would like some suggestions for what to play next), this episode is a great one, with discussions of everything from Stardew Valley to Disco Elysium.

Finally, on Friday our all-Patreons bonus is the Mince Pie Chat from Gaming and Giving. Featuring Suzanne King, Jeffrey Nils Gardner, Cathy Rinella and Martyn Pratt, if you missed the segment or just want to rewatch it, this is a cosy chat about the participants’ personal traditions around the end of the year.
