Finished Bugsnax. That was as surreal and charming as was indicated.

Purchased DDLC immediately after listening and I'M HOOKED. I love these chats, I learn so many new things to explore and you always have such a grand time.

"I was on tumblr in 2012!" Helen truly is one of us :D That was delightful 💜

Don't know a thing about Nathan but instantly stan them; special THANK you for talking about the conventions and tropes of Visual Novels. Great ep as usual, even though only a couple of mentions were things I hadn't yet heard of :D

Nathan continues to be an entire classy vibe...

That is so sweet! And, good news! Chip's Challenge 1-I hadn't realized there were sequels!-is free to play on Steam.

Melissa Raney

No lie, I genuinely almost started crying when Helen mentioned Chip's Challenge. We didn't have it on our computer at home, but it was on the school computer when I was in elementary school and I remember the owner's husband sitting with my little brother and patiently helping him work out the puzzles instead of just dashing about doing trial-and-error. He (the owner's husband, not my brother) died almost twenty years ago and we still miss him so much. I had no idea that game was still out there! Going to be buying that asap. (Along with whatever of the other games mentioned I can find!)

Ollie of the Beholder

I played the heck out Chip's Challenge when I was a kid. What's funny is that I remember playing it in the breakfast nook and the PC was nowhere near there so I don't know how. It's exactly the kind of logic puzzle game I love. Helen, I'm so glad for the reminder that this game exists! I'll be picking it up again on Steam. (And I've added Bugsnax to a wishlist. ❤️ )
