Retrospective

Hi folks,

Wishing you the very best as 2021 comes to close and 2022 begins. With the pandemic changing so many aspects of our lives, it has been a difficult few years for everyone and we are so grateful for your continued support for Rusty Quill.

Here at Rusty Quill, we’re really proud of what we’ve achieved this year. We’ve ended our first three shows, The Magnus Archives, Stellar Firma and Rusty Quill Gaming and launched the public season of Enthusigasm and our first Patreon exclusive audio drama, Inexplicables. We also launched RQ Network, an incredible selection of the very best podcasts – if you are looking for something to keep you amused over the holidays, we cannot recommend checking out some of the Network shows strongly enough.

We’ve already announced two new shows, Trice Forgotten and Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later and have a lot of other exciting plans to tell you about in 2022, including more information about Chapter and Multiverse and a certain new Stellar Firma spin-off you may have already heard about.

Your generous support has helped us to do more charity work. We raised over £21,000 for Mermaids, ActionAid and Centrepoint in our recent Gaming and Giving. This is an important part of our values at Rusty Quill and we thank you for your support, which has made a real difference to people’s lives around the world.

This week on the feed, on Tuesday we’ve got the final part of Himbo Treasure Hunt, masterfully GM’d by Sasha, and featuring Ben, Lydia and Maddy. Then, on Thursday, we have a seasonal season finale of Enthusigasm as Helen, Annie, Liz and Mike gather to discuss their Holiday Traditions.

As we mentioned last week, there won’t be a transcript update due to the holiday break. However, it’ll be back next week.
