EGSM 39: Merely players (Shakespeare)

Comments

O! Love me some Shakespeare. I watched Richard III at the Utah Cedar City Shakespeare Festival and was mesmerized by their acting troupe! They have a replica Old Globe Theater there, and I stood, in the back, in 105* weather, in summer, literally pouring bottles of water over my head (hot flashes in summer are not recommended) but would NOT leave the theater for air conditioning. It was one of the best experiences of theater I've ever had, hot flashes and all. Can't think of any other playwright who would keep me in thrall like that.

It's been ages since I've seen a Shakespeare play, must keep a closer eye on what's on at The Globe as I love seeing them there.

ON MY TOP LIST OF THIS SHOW (and that was hard) I just had so much fun listening to It and, as a Shakespeare nerd that cannot nerd about Shakespeare irl with noone...a total delight (also, had a PRETTY harsh day so...yeah, great)

this was amazing. i also wonder how many of these five have seen "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" bc boy howdy does that play help you list all of Shakespeare's plays in one blast
