Firstly, in case you missed it, we shared a big Kickstarter update on Friday, going over upcoming BackerKit surveys and some information on rewards fulfilment. We are finalising a few changes, thanks to the helpful feedback from BackerKit and then we’ll be launching the “smoke test”, where 5% of backers will receive their surveys early to ensure everything is working as it should. Everyone else will be receiving their surveys shortly after the smoke test is complete. Thank you so much for your patience. You can read the full post here. As well Kickstarter rewards fulfilment, we’re also still busy at work on the early stages of production for The Magnus Protocol. The series bible is now fully written, mapping out the broad scope of the series, the characters and the world.

Speaking of production, this is another busy month full of recordings. Excitingly, later this month we’re starting to record Of That Colossal Wreck, the first Neon Inkwell production. Neon Inkwell is our upcoming anthology podcast, featuring self-contained short series showcasing writers from around the world. Of That Colossal Wreck, the first of these short series, is science fiction with a horror twist, by Sasha Sienna and Jonathan Sims. When five artificially grown people awaken on an abandoned space station long after the extinction of humanity, they must confront their purpose, their future and the carnivorous alien beings which have taken over the facility.

Meanwhile, we are expecting to wrap recording of Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later this month. Our production team have also begun working on the soundscaping for the series, bringing the world of Ancient Rome to life. If you’re excited for Cry Havoc, our Friday bonus for Rusty Citizens and above is a sneak preview at some digital promotional posters we’ll be sharing publicly at a later date.

Finally we’ve been finalising the Rusty Quill Gaming dice. We have recently received some samples of extras included in the LOLOMG Deluxe Dice Set and they are fantastic. We were genuinely blown away by the small details in the packaging Dice Dungeon have created for this set. Maybe that sounds nerdy or boring, but we are genuinely so excited for these dice sets. A lot of love and care has been put into these samples by the team at Dice Dungeon, and we’re really grateful to be collaborating with such a dedicated company.
