Patreon Kickstarter Update #6

Hi folks,

We're here with an additional update today focusing specifiacally on The Magnus Protocol and various Kickstarter related news. We have made some really exciting progress this month in The Magnus Protocol and are very excited to be able to share some of it with you!

Firstly, we’ve seen a few comments from folks who have backed the Kickstarter needing to update their address. A quick reminder that this is done via the BackerKit surveys. We will do what we can to update addresses in advance of shipping but can’t guarantee timely delivery to addresses changed after the backer kit survey deadline was reached. If you wish to update your address last minute it is most helpful to email us via mail@rustyquill.com stating your old address and your new updated address or otherwise to message us on Kickstarter with your updated address.

With that in mind, we’re excited to say that reward add-on pins are packed and ready to ship. The t-shirts are currently receiving Q&A checks. We’re waiting to receive a sample from our partner to ensure the design is printed correctly. Once that is confirmed and any updates made, we can start to get shirts shipping out to you ASAP.

Now to some exciting news from our production team. We have now fully cast and begun to record episodes. We will announce more information to do with our amazing cast a little further down the line, but the show is really starting to take shape. We take a lot of care and time with the production of our shows, so unfortunately it will still be quite a while until the pilot is ready to share – however, the first steps have been taken to bring the podcast to life, and we once again thank you all for your support in helping us get to this point.

Speaking of sharing the pilot, as we mentioned a few weeks ago, planning is well underway for The Magnus Protocol digital premiere. We will be making the premiere available as a video download exclusively for backers who pledged at the Archival Assistant level and above, and our Patreon supporters at Knights and Noble tiers, including a preview of The Magnus Protocol pilot episode and some exciting bonus content. The digital premiere will be shared on Sunday 22nd October.

As part of this premiere offering, we will be holding an intimate in-person screening in Manchester on the same day: Sunday 22nd October, from 2.30pm. Tickets will be available for £60, and will include a preview screening of The Magnus Protocol pilot, a Question and Answer session with members of the cast, a signing session and a few freebies. Please note, this event will be for those aged 18+ only.

We will be providing a link to the ticket site, powered by Eventive, shortly before tickets for the in-person screening go live on Wednesday 30th August, at 10am BST. The exact location of this event will be revealed on the ticket site at this time.

As tickets will be very limited for this event, we strongly advise not pre-booking travel or accommodation until you are sure you have a ticket. Tickets will be limited to 2 per person.
