Guess Who

Hi folks,

Wishing you the very best for the coming week from everyone at Rusty Towers!

Firstly, we have some very exciting news: our second Rusty Towers Presents event! We had a great time with Anusia and Alex watching Velocipastor, but this time is for something completely different! Join our very own Sir Bertrand MacGuffingham, otherwise known as James Ross, on the 29th of June in Manchester for his newest show, James Ross Does Guess Who

Remember that childhood favourite? Guess Who? It's like that, but based on vibes and played with YOU, the lovely audience. Failure is certain. In James’ words, a good time is “not absolutely guaranteed but quite likely. It is a lot of fun and extremely stupid”. James has won five Chortle Awards, so it's probably quite good!

Once again, we’ll be hosting at the wonderful Cultplex venue. You can expect lots of laughs and audience participation galore. As always, Rusty Nobles get first dibs at the tickets – we'll share the ticket link and more information on the event with you later in the week!

Next up, we have a quick update from the team at Dice Dungeon and The Magnus Archives “Entities” dice set. The set will soon be shipping, with the dispatch date currently set for the end of this month! Please note, once dispatched, delivery times may vary depending on your location. If you'd like to get your hands on this beautiful set, get your order in by 23:59 BST today (Monday 6th May) to ensure you receive your dice in the first wave of deliveries.

Speaking of merchandise, for those of you who backed the Kickstarter, we are working with the microphone company, Sontronics, to get an update on the delievery to you very soon. Please keep an eye on the Kickstarter updates page for this.

In this week’s episode of The Magnus Protocol we meet someone new. The episode is available to our early access supporters on Tuesday and available on the public feed on Thursday. Meanwhile in The Pit Below Paradise, Dori confronts a faith other than her own. This episode is available to Knights and Nobles on Wednesday and is available on the public feed on Friday.

Finally, just a quick note to say that Alexander J Newall has updated his list of official social media channels. You can find the full list on his bio page on our website.

Here is our full schedule for this week:

Tuesday 7th May

The Magnus Protocol 15 – Well Run (Patreon & Kickstarter Backers) (4pm BST)

JAMES!!! Awh man, I’ve never been so mad to be American. Hope everyone has fun though :) I’ve been a QL patron for years now and James is always a delight. Unbearably curious about the new addition to the MagPro roster. I can’t believe we’re already on episode 15! & excited for more PBP, I really enjoyed Will’s perspective last week, it’s given the world a lot of depth. (And as always, lovely lovely sound design. That helps too😉) It will be interesting to return to Dori’s mind with all that extra context. Hope everyone is having an excellent start to the week!xx
