Like, he wants everyone else to know about the things he's going through, but won't listen when people tell him about what they've seen. Alice basically admitted to him he was right about the Institute and he didn't even seem to pay attention, not with that dogged Sam-ness we've seen from him in earlier episodes.

FUCKING HELL. that case has probably been the scariest/my favorite yet. i love the build up of the horror the audience feels at the nature of the experimentation treated as normal to the horror the letter writer feels at the results. and the voice acting was fantastic across the board, especially for gwen and augustus
