Announcing: The Magnus Protocol Board Game

Hi folks,

We are so excited to announce: The Magnus Protocol Mysteries, a supernatural mystery solving game set in the Protocol universe. Join your favourite characters at the O.I.A.R., and work together to discover the truth behind the paranormal incident in each case.

We are very pleased to be working with incredible team at Indie Boards & Cards, creators of Coup, The Resistance, Avalon, Sherlock Files and many, many more.

In The Magnus Protocol Mysteries, you will be put into the role of an O.I.A.R. employee, and will come with three unique cases for you to explore, solve, and catalogue. Each case you must assess will come in its own box, filled with all the evidence you will require to uncover the truth of its supernatural mystery. This evidence will include written documents, photographs, evidence files, and even audio recordings from Chester, Norris, and other O.I.A.R. employees.

The game is designed by Sydney Engelstein (she/her and he/him). Sydney has been designing games for over ten years, and has nearly thirty published designs. She has been the Director of Game Development for Indie Game Studios for the last six years, helping to manage the production and design of dozens of games.

Sydney has been a Magnus super fan since he discovered The Magnus Archives in 2018, making her the perfect person to design this game. We’ll be sharing an exclusive interview with Sydney in next week’s Patreon newsletter, and you can also catch him chatting with Alex and Jonny at the beginning of today’s stream!
