Fluff and stuff

Hi folks,

Wishing you the very best for the coming week from everyone at Rusty Towers!

After the tense finale and dramatic epilogue, this week we are sharing something a bit different in The Magnus Protocol: the season one Fluff episode, so prepare your ears for some fluffy-wuffy audio. Unlike previous Magnus Fluff, Protocol Fluff is canonical, so sit back, relax and listen as we go back in time to mark an anniversary or two with Alice and Colin in an episode called: Plenty More Fish. As always, early access is on Tuesday at 4pm BST and the public release is on Thursday at 4pm BST.

For those of you who missed our Protocol season one finale wrap party stream, we’ll be sharing the VOD onto our YouTube channel tomorrow! You can still catch the full VOD on Twitch too – just head to our Twitch Channel to enjoy the fun and nonsense from Alex, Jonny, Anusia, Billie, Lowri and Shahan – just be aware there will be spoilers for the full series of The Magnus Protocol!

It isn’t too long now before the crowdfund campaign for The Magnus Protocol Mysteries goes live! A brand-new mystery game from the developers of Coup, The Resistance and Sherlock Files, Indie Boards and Cards, this mystery-solving game puts you in the role of an OIAR employee. Explore documents, photographs, evidence and more to uncover the truth about a supernatural mystery.

There’s still time to claim a bonus pack of OIAR employee stickers for just $1 - just head to www.rustyquill.com/boardgame to find out how! You can also join Indie Boards and Cards over on their BackerKit launch party! They’re sharing Protocol Triva questions every Tuesday - can you make the leaderboard?

Finally, we are sharing a treat over on The Magnus Archives/The Magnus Protocol podcast feed at 4pm BST today – a feed drop of RQ Original Show, Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later. If you haven’t listened to our Ancient Roman political sitcom, now is the perfect time to listen. Filled with familiar voices from The Magnus Protocol, including Kazeem Tosin Amore (Teddy), Harry Roebuck (Needles), Sarah Lambie (Lena), Beth Eyre (Error) and Ryan Hopevere-Anderson (Colin), and created by creator of Wooden Overcoats, David K Barnes, Cry Havoc is a dramatic comedy of power politics, whirlwind romances, and running fast to get nowhere. Knights and Noble Patreons can listen to the whole series, ad free, here on Patreon – check out the Cry Havoc collection to hear every episode!

Have a good week all!

I stumbled on Cry Havoc after I joined the Patreon and it's fun and very good! I would not have thought I'd enjoy something set in ancient Rome so much!

Ember

Omg maybe I'll relisten to Cry Havoc during the hiatus. It's so good, if you're reading this and you haven't checked it out yet, please do - it's funny as all hell but full of heart (also the music and sound design is fantastic). The actors and actresses are great in it as well, Kazeem's performance especially is so good.

Helena McCoy

Exciting! Thanks RQ! Really enjoying all the little extras!

RedDedZombie

that’s great to know, thank you! i was afraid i wouldn’t be able to play it as i don’t know anyone in real life who’s into magnus and would be willing to play it with me

Olivia

Yes, I believe it works both as a solo game and with groups.

Rusty Quill

will you be able to play the board game by yourself or is it multiplayer?

Olivia

Violet

All fluff is canon in my heart, they are just too good!
