Charlotte gets a redesign and is aged up a bit. Originally they were close to Dot and Tulip's age (4/5) but now I want them to be 12. They're my only preteen main character, so it helps them feel like the odd one out. Unlike several other characters in the cast, they're very hyperaware of their surroundings (maybe TOO aware). Chestnut, while a little less complex, I still wanted to make her feel different compared to Dot. She's a bit more spiteful, and has a tendency to take words the wrong way.

Viola, Willow and Penny (aka the "Weird Girls") are some of my personal favorites to write, because I think I put myself the most in them. I don't really identify with any of these girls (maybe Viola and her girlfriend obsession haha), but I love joking about cringe and stupid high school relationships, platonic and romantic.
