To retain these advantages you will 1/ make foreigners feel welcome living in the US 2/ maintain trust in the reliability of the US trade and financial system 3/ be a reliable partner in your global alliance 4/ maintain moral high ground? These are advantages built over many decades, they will not disappear overnight. But without question they are being eroded.
