Poll about a timeskip

My plan was to do a timeskip of about a year around Chapter 45. But I think it’s a good idea to get your opinion on whether the pacing feels too slow right now, or if it’s fine as it is. So here are four options:

Yeah, that’s actually the reason I brought up the question in the first place. I’ve mainly been focusing on Grace mental character progression so far, even though the overall story progression has already started in the current arc. That’s the downside of writing a slow burn. I’ve mapped out the story pretty well, but for Grace’s personal strength to feel like it’s progressing, she definitely needs more fights (*coff* Rivermouth). As for the worldbuilding, the magic system is pretty much finished now, except for a few things that Elyne still needs to explain. (:

2025-09-16 07:56:10 +0000 UTCI generally don't mind timeskips but it would be nice to see Grace increase her magic circle or magical abilities outside of timeskips. So far it's just felt like a cultivation novel with action but no cultivation. What can I say I actually like seeing the progression part of progression fantasies.
