12 Monkeys 1X13: Arms of Mine

This was so not a conclusion I was hoping for. I wanted at least a bit of a resolution as I don't think I'll be watching more seasons of this. But here we are.

So Ramsey is NOT the witness. But we still don't know who it is (Cassie? Maybe?). Also, Ramsey has been in 2015, but is trying to get back to 2043 so he can be with his son. I have no idea how he fits into all this if he's not the witness, though.

Cassie is shot and had internal bleeding, but Cole somehow manages to send her to 2043 in hopes that Jones can help her. But Jones has just given over the machine to the group of 12 and is essentially being held prisoner.

And I think Jennifer is going to spread the virus? What is happening?!?

Lol. The show gets more complicated as it goes, as time travel concepts usually do lol, so I can imagine you ran across a lot of stuff that made not a lot of sense

I'm filming a follow-up this week with some thoughts after I maybe spend more time than I should have on reddit, but it's nice to get a little confirmation. Lol.

Comment in response to your thoughts pre this episode and post last episode: You had the right idea last episode when you were working out that basically Cole and everyone else has been stuck in a time loop. Jones already knew based on meeting Cole in 2015 and Cole knew/burried the memory of what happened that night. Part of that time loop aspect though is that Ramsey went back to 2015 and basically with help from the bad guys made sure it was a time loop. The 12 monkeys want it to be a time loop because they know that the way events play out currently, it all results in the plague. They want to make sure nothing changes so they're attempting to make sure all of this is a time loop essentially. As far as kid Cole eventually growing up to time travel and if he's affected by the adult Cole being a fixed point in 2015, kid Cole is still fine, like physically, to go on to time travel. The present/future version of a physical body doesn't like extend backwards into the past versions. It's the same as when adult Cole gets shot or stabbed, kid Cole doesn't experience that.
