Particularly foreign history. But it's fascinating. I really appreciate you taking the time to educate me on these matters :) Again, regardless of how complicated it is and how little I understand, it's done so well that I don't care. I'll just continue to say, 'I'm confused.' Over and over. Ha.

Father John Hughes is working with the Russian Whites The Duke and Duchess and Tatiana to get the tanks and weapons to Russia. Father Hughes is part of the Economic League associated with the Government Patrick Jarvis is a member of Parliament working with The Priest. The Russians are Duke and Duchess and their Niece Tatiana who escaped the war and are being put up by the Government and the King. Tommy has no choice but to work with them otherwise they will be hung. Tommy hates Father Hughes (you even said he was creepy) because he wants as part of the deal a side room at the orphanage for dignitaries to drop by after drinks for not very nice favours. (i will leave you to work that one out). Reuben is the artist Polly met at the wedding. He is on Graces side of the family and is not Russian. Hope that helps. Don't worry this is a very complicated story to follow.
