Peaky Blinders 3X5
Added 2023-08-10 14:35:01 +0000 UTCI'm so torn about how I feel about Polly's response to Michael's wishes. I also, think I almost understand exactly what the plan is with the heist. And as usual, this episode was incredible.

Right? I'm still not sure how I feel. Even having seen the subsequent episode. I think both of them are right. It feels very much like, 'there are no assholes here.' I don't really see Arthur's relationship with Linda as strong as you do. (Although, that's possibly because you've seen the entire show, and I haven't). I see it more as her being controlling than anything else. He seems almost afraid of her at times. But that could just be because he doesn't want to disappoint her. It really does seem like he loves the Peaky Blinder lifestyle so much. I cannot see how he's actually going to leave it. Tatiana is insane. I get incredibly anxious whenever she's on screen. I feel like anything could happen, and Tommy could end up dead at her hand in the blink of an eye. That's a really interesting point about Tommy being caught between who he has always been and who he is now that he has money. I don't know if things are better or worse for him because, on top of that, he's fucking brilliant, which can cause its own set of problems. When no one else is as smart as you are, they cannot be relied on to react in ways you think they should. This whole season was wild in the best possible way!

Arthur........ oh my heart always breaks for Arthur, he worships Linda and i think he is torn with being a better man, but he is so intrenched in the lifestyle of the Peakys that he just can't shake plus he is so devoted to Tommy that he obviously doesn't want to leave. Tatiana just messes with Tommy's mind, but no wonder as the Russian whites (Royals) are wild and high on power. her family were in power pre exile and were just hoarding all the power and the wealth while their fellow Russians starved. They certainly didn't have ant morals as that orgy was wild!!!!!! You can see why the revolution started. This season definitely is a reminder about class and power and the rise and the subsequent fall of it if you are too greedy. It is a bit of a wake up call to Tommy that although he has power and wealth now, he is and will always be a gypsy and people in power and the aristocracy will always see themselves as bigger and better than him.
