If this is the first episode of the season, I cannot imagine what's in store for the rest of it. I'm really afraid that Polly is going to go completely off the deep end after this.

I couldn't not see how that was going to play out! He got the entire family arrested! I knew he had some sort of plan, and I desperately wanted to see it in motion. Damn. I thought I was finally getting better! Lol. OMG. I knew he'd have to have a plan. I did not realize the plan was in motion so long ago. There are not enough ways for me to say, "Tommy's fucking brilliant." I think I've exhausted my options. This is definitely a show that I'll be rewatching once it's over. I think it'll be even better the second time around now that I'm learning what is actually going on! And I've said it before; this show is so fucking good, you don't even need to really understand exactly what's going on to realize how incredible it is. Yeah. I figure out the American/Italian issue eventually. I kept thinking the NY mafia is Italian as opposed to American and was confused. Ha. I'm still not entirely sure that I believe that ending actually happened. If it were any other show, I'd think it was a gimmick, but this show doesn't play that way.

Tommy is not anything to do with government at the beginning of the episode. An OBE (order of the British Empire) is an honour given to people for good work in charities and in the community. Tommy asked for this as his reward for getting the King off the hook and to help his route up the proverbial ladder!!!! Remember that all his family were going to be hung for their involvement in the plot if the train got blown up, so he knew with this letter from the King he could use it as leverage to get them all freed and off the hook. Father Hughes's group the Odd Fellow or section D they had lots of names, would do everything they could to punish Tommy for killing the Priest and giving evidence against the. At the end of season 3 they were coming for the family which Tommy knew, the only way out was to play along with it then use his get out of jail card. The family would have never gone through with the plan if they knew, hence Tommy got them altogether in the meeting to be arrested. Tommy just knows they all hate him for what he did although actually he saved their lives in reality. So he is as usual putting up hi emotional defense's to deal with it. Jessie Eden is a real historical figure, she was a female shop stewardess and helped to rally the strikes to get better pay for women. Tommy said once he has dealt with the Americans we will come after the Italians......The American are the Mafia Luca Changretta and his henchmen are from New York. The Italians are Sabini who has been helping get Changretta and his men into Birmingham What an ending...........Peaky Blinders likes to keep you on your toes HaHa!!!!
