Peaky Blinders 6X6: Lock and Key
Added 2023-10-16 17:46:02 +0000 UTCAnd that's it.
This is the best show I've ever watched. I'm so sad that I blew through it so quickly. But I literally could not stop watching.
What an awesome ending. I love the fact that Tommy seems to have finally found some peace. But I fear for myself because I was totally advocating for violence.
Thank you to everyone who commented and messaged and explained things to me.
The successor to Peaky Blinders is going to be Better Call Saul and the first episode will go up Wednesday October 18, and each Wednesday thereafter.

Oh, I love that Polly was behind Ruby's actions. Once Michael got involved, there was a lot of concern about where her loyalty lay. I like to think in the end, she's proud of who Tommy became. Thank you! I appreciate you staying around for the whole ride.

2023-10-17 16:40:57 +0000 UTCYep peaky Blinders without Cillian Murphy is a no from me as well Ruby at the end broke my heart it was meant to be that she was sent from Polly to save her Dad, so poignant and a full circle for Tommy as he he missed his goodbye to her 💔 😢 Good Luck with all your new series hope your channel continues to grow as you are a great reactor.....very real x

2023-10-17 13:09:14 +0000 UTCOMG. Yes, I do remember that now. I knew I was forgetting something. That makes so much more sense. Thank you! Although, I still do find it odd that Duke, of all people, was the one who told him he wasn't in the family any longer. I think I'd have preferred if it came from Charlie. But at least I get it now. Lol. I agree. I hope Tommy tells him he's alive, even if he chooses to stay away. I fear what Arthur will do without Tommy around. That said, Tommy did set him up for success the best he could by getting the drugs out of Small Heath and getting Linda back in the picture. That was my thought on the coin as well. It feels exactly like something that Tommy would do. Especially as a superstitious person. I have zero doubt that had he not 'seen' Ruby, he 100% would have taken it as a sign he was making the right decision. I also really feel like Ruby being the one to show him the truth was perfect. In a lot of shows, I think that would be a cop-out, but it was perfectly earned in this show. They've been setting this up for seasons. I didn't clock the colors, but I did notice that he started and ended on a horse, which I loved. I love it even more now that you've pointed out the black/white. More Peaky Blinders? Yes, please. But I'd be hesitant without Cillian. I'd be concerned it would be like The Many Saints of Newark without James Gandolfini. I don't even think I finished it. This was absolutely the best show I've ever watched. I feel bad for Better Call Saul. No matter how good it is, it can't be Peaky Blinders good!

2023-10-16 22:14:40 +0000 UTCI loved your reaction to the Finale. Such a brilliant ending..... and such a twist. Did Tommy redeem himself? i think he did! The Billy Finn plot line.... Season 5 Finn told Billy about the plan to kill Oswald, Billy picked up the phone to report this and someone let the IRA know about the plan and the plot got foiled. Tommy found out, (as he does) the plan to kill him and Arthur, they knew Billy was the Rat. Duke had been asked by uncle Charlie can you keep a secret, so obviously Tommy had told Uncle Charlie to tell Duke that Billy was the Rat and they needed him killed. The scenario was a party at the house for the younguns!!!! Finn was already annoyed that Isiah had been put in charge instead of him. The plan was to kill Billy and get Finn to do it out of Loyalty to the family. This was a test as they knew Finn was the one who told Billy. Duke was giving Finn the opportunity to show his family loyalty Arthur had said if he didn't shoot Billy then he was no longer part of the family. Finn took the gun and aimed at Isiah!!!!!!! Then aimed and fired twice at Duke before Duke took the gun and shot Billy. Uncle Charlie predicted that finn would try and kill Duke so told him to take the 1st 2 bullets out of the chamber.... it looks like they had no faith in Finn at all, thats why Tommy told him to man up essentially in the Garrison. Hope that helps!!!!!! I am so worried that Arthur will kill himself to be with Tommy!!!!!! Who knows where Tommy will go, will he go back to the family or will he hide out and become a new person???? The end when Tommy flips the coin i honestly believe that he flipped that coin every day and that day it landed heads and he knew it was his time. The photos in the waggon and Graces's lock of hair and her wedding ring he kept on his necklace was just so lovely that he had laid out all his memories but sad that they all got burnt. Did you clock that he came into the series ep 1 on a black horse and went out on a white horse, lots of symbolism in this programme. Lots of mentions of white horses the white pony his Mum gave him, the white horse he got from the Lees. There is suppose to be a film being made which was supposed to be started in October, not heard anything about it yet apart from Steven Knight the creator had a real story in WW2 that he was using with the Shelby family. Cillian Murphy has not said that he is definitely in but they couldn't do a Peaky film without him??? Perhaps the Strikes have affected the starting of the filming maybe???? I know they said there would be spin offs in the future maybe with the young generation but not written by Steven Knight???? I am so sad you have finished the journey its been great and i think its the best series i've watched in a very long time.
